Aya-san and her husband is the most polite and warm host I ever experienced with AirBnB. they went to the distance to ensure the guest are well taken care of. Before the trip, she asked if I have any good allergy and what is my plan for the trip. She even organised an literary for my trip to Iya Valley. Not to mentioned, the amazing breakfast and dinner they will prepare for the guests. Their cooking puts some of the chefs in town to shame. The ingredients are all handpicked from the forest. Amazing place to stay. Thank you very much Aya san and husband.

This is my best Airbnb experience, I have been using Airbnb for 10 years, travelling around the world in different cities and seeing all sorts of interesting people and things, this time the meetup with Chiko, makes me believe that the connection between people and people can be so wonderful.We only spent a short time, but since she picked me up from the station, I was attracted by her sincerity, we stumbled in English and Japanese for a few hours, shared each other's life stories, and we sang Japanese songs together, and felt that the barley tea on our hands became a good wine.The next day I ran back in the morning, she made a table for breakfast, the cooking was superb, I left her the little candy I prepared from China, I wrote her a small card, I hope she can always be so nice and warm, her tears came down, I also had red eyes, and I felt sorry for half a day.She sent me to the station, bought the ticket with me, watched me get on the bus and waved goodbye, it felt like I was saying goodbye to my family, especially.We will definitely meet again, next time I must learn a few Japanese songs!Oh Yes! The house is super clean and very homey. The host is very responsive and helpful. This is the best stay during my vacation for Setouchi Festival. If I ever come to Teshima again, I will definitely stay here again. Don’t miss out this place!

Two couples used it for the purpose of traveling around.Highly recommended for those looking for a peaceful getaway in the natural countryside or if you want to experience Japanese culture.A car is recommended for getting around. It is an old house full of historical charm but with modern comforts. The host, Mitsuko, will welcome you with the warmth of returning to his parents' home.I called him "mom" during my stay. I like the bath because it has a retro atmosphere that feels like the Showa period.You can also go to Tsukaya Onsen in 20 minutes by car.Both are recommended. My mother's homemade dishes were nutritious, and the handmade suodo ponzu was delicious.Next time, I want to stay and make ponzu with my mom during the harvest time.

Staying in Yusuke and Isa’s home was such a special experience - a highlight of our Japan trip. Their home is beautiful and everything has been carefully thought about. It immediately feels like home. Isa’s cooking was genuinely amazing - breakfast and dinner were 10/10. Yusuke is super responsive and helpful with pick ups etc. We would love to come back!!

Outstandingly the best place we have ever stayed. The location and setting are out of this world and the property is immaculate, but more than that, the hosts are the best. Mio & Sho are welcoming and top level hosts, who allowed us to share this beautiful home with them as well as their stories. Great people.

It was an endlessly pleasant stay in this stunning house with a view of the sea. The hosts were such kind and lovely people that it's impossible to put into words how warm and caring they were. The food they prepared was so delicious that I was left speechless. I had both dinner and breakfast, and the hosts kindly went out of their way to make vegan meals especially for me, which made it even more meaningful. It was such a joy to witness their gentle relationship and the love they show for their sweet daughter, Emma-chan. Unfortunately, I accidentally took the key with me, causing the hosts some inconvenience, but luckily I had only traveled to a nearby island, and I was able to return the key on my way back. It was such a tender and emotional moment that it brought tears to my eyes. I wholeheartedly recommend staying in this house! P.S. I'm sure I forgot the key because I was completely overwhelmed by that insanely delicious breakfast, especially the bread that was baked by Totoshka

It’s the perfect place to enjoy breakfast overlooking a picturesque seaside sunrise. Satomi is so kind and a great host. The most difficult part of staying here is leaving in the morning!
