The apartment was cozy, beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped. The surrounding nature made our visit extra soothing, even though we stayed in the apartment in the new year. Fiskars and Billnäs historic ironworks were found nearby. The stay went perfectly and everything matched the description. Definitely a recommendable place for those looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting!

Adorable grandma's cottage in the peace and quiet of the countryside. It was easy to find and everything worked as promised. An old-fashioned vibe linger in the cottage and yard sauna. Absolutely adorable place in the quiet!

We stayed in Taina's place for from June to September 2024. We really felt like home here. Taina came every week to move the grass and she loved our dog. She was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. Neighbours were really friendly too. We could see the northern lights and the milky way right from the yard! The kitchen was well equipped and suited our Indian style cooking too. Laundry room was fully equipped too. We could easily accommodate our friends who visited during weekends. As a bonus we had a yard full of blueberries, red currants, plum trees and apple trees and also tips from Taina for making juice from the berries! Mornings were really beautiful with mist covered fields on all sides and lot of deers grazing. Though most shops and facilities were atleast 15 minutes drive away, we planned the shop visits so that multiple things got done in one trip. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wish to spend time in the nature far from the city.

The house is very spacious, bright and modernly furnished, it really has everything you need, even any small things in the bathroom (care products) and in the kitchen (coffee, vinegar, oil, spices, tea etc). There was really nothing missing. The beds are very comfortable. The sauna is great and the outdoor area is really pretty with the veranda and the gazebo. We saw deer running through the garden every evening, a real highlight. It's very quiet and the surroundings are rural. The only thing that was unfortunate was that you could not get to the lake anywhere because all paths lead to a house and the lake connections are private. If you want to go swimming, you have to go to Lohja to one of the beaches.

Aino is an exceptionally helpful and very host. The apartment is in prime condition. Grocery store around the corner. Gym, pool and sauna in the basement.

The one bedroom apartment is bright and spacious. It has all that it takes. The location is excellent, very close to public transportation, two supermarkets are very close, as well as close to a central hospital, so I was able to visit my mother who was hospitalized there, several times a day, with a short walk of just a few minutes. The bed was large and comfortable, fresh linens and towels. Fernando took care of my hair dryer, upon my request. The contact with Fernando was excellent, responded quickly to questions/requests and was available. Slightly noisy from the street below the window. I recommend equipping the apartment with a fan, it was somewhat hot, and a small microwave. I also recommend to guide the guests about the method of operating the elevator, by using the apartment key.

We absolutely loved this place. Everything there made sense. The host was communicative at all times, and gave us great suggestions on where to go. The design of the house is extremely logical and high quality. The location was perfect if you want to be in nature and a little outside of Helsinki but close to everything you need. Renting a car will help but is not absolutely necessary unless you want to visit Nuuksio, where it can be difficult to find return transportation. The area is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. There are apples growing by the sidewalks on the walk from the house to the beach, and the beach is a 15 minute walk. There is a grocery store that is a 5 minute walk away and has all of the food that you would need. The neighbors were friendly and helpful (even the quirky one). Overall, I absolutely loved this place.

Very clean and functional apartment. The level of equipment was excellent and the apartment was completely clean. Private, free parking in front of the house. Check-in was smooth thanks to good instructions.

We spent a wonderful Easter weekend in Sofia's cottage. The cottage was beautifully decorated, keeping the old house vibe. Every little detail, the color scheme was thoughtfully thought out. The equipment level surprised expectations, even the electric mixer was found. Coffee, tea, detergents were of high quality, and the bed was good for sleeping. In the wood sauna, great steam in the light of candle lanterns. Small pond next to it for cooling off. For breakfast, there was a pheasant walk under the kitchen window and wild deer in the field. We found hiking trails in the woods, and we went jogging with the dog. Weather favored, we grilled in the yard. We highly recommend. The little fairytale cottage was a great getaway for city dwellers, and communication with Sofia was quick and smooth. Perfect!

If I told you I rebooked the place within two hours of arriving, would you need anything more? The place is quirky and cosy in a good way and had everything you’d need - and more! It has a bath, which you will almost NEVER find in Finland, so for the wanna-be-brits like me, it is a GEM. There’s a sauna too, so unravel your knickers. It’s quiet and apart from a few squeaky floorboards and the occasional sound of water, the night was peaceful. If I had to nitpick I’d say arriving by car is a bit dicy as everywhere near looks like it’s all pedestrian all the time. Pasila train station is just ten minutes on foot, tho, so maybe next time I’ll take that option. But if I was you, I’d definitely NOT book (so I get to go there whenever I want!) 😉

We loved the location and access to walk on the frozen lake, our daughter played in the garden and loved sleeping in the mezzanine upstairs. The house was warm without even needing to put the fire on. It felt homely and was well equipped. The hot tub, fairy lights, games and play equipment for kids were all lovely additions. Host was helpful and communicated during the stay. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Apt a bit hot in summer, fans provided. Great for a couple with children, it is a family apt. Great location for trams and grocery stores. Secure building and area.

We spent an atmospheric December weekend in Kari's beautiful house on the shore of Lake Lohjanjärvi. Kari was kind enough to greet us and carefully guide the beginners to the secrets of the villa and yard sauna. We can only imagine what a place is like in the summer, definitely have to come back here!
