Vacation rentals with breakfast in Tangalle

Fantastic holiday with family! We had a great 2 night stay .. we enjoyed the hospitality and the villa. Mani was amazing and Kawshika cooked up amazing meals. It was peaceful and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, pool and great family time.

We had six lovely days at the villa. It’s right on a quiet beach, and a five minute walk to see the turtles! Sunil’s breakfasts were amazing and he was always willing to help. Would definitely recommend.

A beautifully designed house, directly on the sands of a lovely quiet beach. Perfect for swimming, surfing or snorkeling! Views of the ocean can be seen from every room in the house. Our highlights were afternoon drinks in the pool, and champagne in the hot tub of an evening. The house is immaculate, and the staff are so attentive. The chef is fantastic, best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka! The house is walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and the very popular ‘Doctors House’. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved this villa. It’s so gorgeous and such a relaxing location. We were recommended this villa by some friends and would 100% recommend for anyone to stay here. Amazing staff, and wonderful breakfasts. I hope one day we can come back and stay again!

Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..

Dilan is really a great host. He helped us a lot even before arriving and responded to any questions we had. Very helpful, he arranged our transfers and motorbikes and helped us with everything, even brought us food. The villa was incredibly nice and clean, we love our stay in his place, we felt like home the entire time and I recommend it! ❤️

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

We had an amazing stay at the purple villa. The location is great, a short ride to the Weligama beach and a walk to the Marissa beach. The home is surrounded by nature, very lush and peaceful. The host family went far above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. Their values are to treat their guests like family and we felt incredibly cared for during our stay. They were a highlight in our trip to Sri Lanka. If you are looking for a home to relax and enjoy the surrounding areas, it doesn’t get much better! Couldn’t recommend more.

Ruwan is a very dear person who goes out of her way to make sure you don't miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (there was the same thing every day). Ruwan organized transportation to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was also very nice. We took a trip to the turtles and Galle along with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was like a tourist guide who also gives us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret having spent 4 nights at Ruwan's and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

We loved it here. A short walk to a reef break. Amazing breakfast & coffees. Lovely chilled vibe with the kindest of staff. We were so sad to leave. Can’t recommend it enough.

Very nice welcome from Amila and her family. The house is a little off-center, but Alima transports us wherever you want. The price is reasonable and displayed in the room. Alima and his wife cooks very well. We recommend it.

We were incredibly lucky to choose this villa. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! A beautiful courtyard, a nice pool, a cozy room and all the necessary amenities! And also the most uncrowded and stunning beach next to the villa! But most of all we were captivated by the care and hospitality of the Duminda’s family! The first visit to Sri Lanka turned out to be unforgettable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and the parting gift conquered our hearts!😍

Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Great location with large rooms and balcony. Host was thoughtful and interactive and breakfast provided was a lovely touch. Felt like staying with family. Thanks Uncle Dam!

Loved our stay at the Spice House. The pool and garden area are gorgeous. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

Guy was very helpful. The access to the pool from washroom and the outdoors is crazy.

We slept three nights in this wonderful house and it was amazing! The hosts are very nice and accommodating. They have the best breakfast in Sri Lanka and they will try to fulfill all your wishes. It was really great. We would always come back!

Easily one of the best places I’ve stayed at. Clean, beautifully maintained with lots of privacy and nature all around. I saw at-least 10 different species of birds just during breakfast. You can hear the ocean in the nights. Lots of cute cafés and shacks around. Not that you’ll visit any of them if Manju cooks your first meal there 🤷🏽‍♀️ Anke was always responsive and very helpful and Manju - the kindest, friendly, most knowledgeable and helpful man you’ll meet. He cooks with so much love, thought and passion, you can taste it in every morsel. Everyday we’d wake up excited for the breakfast and we couldn’t wait to get back for dinner to see what storm he’s cooked up! His recommendations were also on point and he was always just a call/message away. We got to truly turn off our brains, unwind and relax! We’re definitely coming back ❤️

Perfect place for a little romantic getaway in the beautiful Galle fort! You couldn't ask for a better location, kinder hosts, and a more delicious breakfast. Highly recommend staying at the Dutch Wall:)

We stayed 4 nights, very nice accommodation, beautiful kitchen, everything is functional. Very good welcome from Nisha, always smiling and ready to do you a favor. She even adapted the French breakfast which is hearty ... she booked a scooter for us, bus, tuk tuk nearby, small convenience store, very good cheap restaurant 5 minutes away on the beach. We highly recommend.

The stay was excellent, and the caretakers took care of everything I needed. I had a great time!

Donis place is one of our favourite places in Sri Lanka! We even came back a second time because we just love it here. The room is so clean and beautifully decorated, the bathroom as well and it smells so good:)) The best is doni herself. She made us an incredible breakfast every morning and let us use the washing machine for free! Also she is such a kind and caring person. She made us really feel at home! The area itself is really quiet and we could rent a scooter from doni to explore the beautiful beaches! I’m sure we will be back a third time if we can :))
