We had a great time in this lovely guesthouse. It was our second time here, we stayed with our small child (2 years) and can really recommend it as a family friendly guesthouse We love the classic Japanese style of the house. The beds are comfy and there was enough space for our child to play. Kitchen and all facilities are as described The hosts were very helpful and kind and write us in good English. They offer help and give good recommendations for restaurants and other stuff It’s a really quiet neighborhood but has all kinds of shops and restaurants nearby It is located close to a trainstation and to walk it’s about 30-40 minutes to the center of Ishinomaki We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Ishinomaki

A nice experience. We were welcomed in a comfortable shared space by considerate and friendly people, which is for sure a guarantee of a good stay. From a great support to reach the island of cats, find a good Isakaya or take care of the transfer of our suitcases, our hosts have allowed us to fully enjoy this beautiful region of Japan.

All the facilities were new, well designed, and we had a very pleasant stay.I did a little business and sightseeing in Sendai this time, so I didn't rent a car.In doing so, transportation was centered around cars and taxis, and there were times when everything was unfortunate, so I took a bus or walked to a convenience store.Even when the distance is burdened.Other than that, I was very satisfied.

We enjoyed this place with family, best recommended for family with kids, and also suitable for the group gatherings, well facilitated house with kids play environment, outdoor setup for barbecue is awesome, big parking area, they also provided bbq setup and all utensils, i recommend this place, best stay

Our experience at Ryo was really surprising and pleasant!! Ryo was very kind and immediately responded to our same day booking request. The room, despite being small, has everything you need and is very well cared for, like the rest of the structure! The common room and kitchen are very nice and we had the pleasure and luck of dining with the other guests in the structure, chatting with them and letting us tell us about the real Japan!The beach, where you can take a nice walk, is a few minutes away by foot. We only stayed one night because we had to continue our trip, but if you are sporty Ryo organizes several activities, from bike excursions to sup. Absolutely recommended, we hope to come back someday!

First of all, I would like to express my greatly thanks to Chisato さん for his help, care, cooking, driving, touring etc. not just my guesthouse host but more like a sincere friend, like my grandpa, like my family member! I’m really surprised that Chisatoさんhelp me plan all the things and give a clear instructions even drive us to tour his hometown—Sendai (Yamagata), really unforgettable and pleasant experience!! Also Chisatoさん’s cooking is best! And healthy! Make me try good home-made Japanese food and change my impression of そば、ramen:) let me know more about Japan, know more about Japanese culture!! One o the most pleasure I wanna share is his house, once he opened the door, I feel like I came back home with warm, cozy light and atmosphere, comfort bed, clean house, tidy room…everytime when I slept on the soft bed, I feel at home❤️also, I really enjoy making friend with him, though maybe we are in different generations, but through him, I see the different cultures and generation! Thank you for sharing a warm home, comfortable room. The sea of the stag peninsula and many fishing ports are relaxing. Driving your own car will be the right choice.
