Absolutely gorgeous property! Very very private and we really enjoyed the hammock, outdoor kitchen, and the big beautiful tree. The wifi works great and we worked outdoors at the table most days and was very comfortable. The bed is huge and very good great bonus! The bathroom is very large but the actual shower is quite small which is kinda sad but the pressure is good and it was hot enough after you turn on the water heater and wait about 20 minutes. We locked ourself out of the house one night but Patricia immediately came and opened the door, she is very friendly and a great host, we recommend the place! Only note is that when you arrive all the cutlery and platewear/pots are in a big bin and you will need to dig it out and set up what you need, other than that very peaceful and relaxing stay!

Chamin’s place is incredibly spacious and offers a true Oaxacan experience. Surrounded by a beautiful variety of cactuses and agave plants, the setting feels peaceful and connected to nature. The location is quiet and conveniently close to major archaeological sites. The bed was super comfy, and the internet was fast and reliable.perfec. The bathroom and shower were well equipped, and having a washing machine and dryer was a big plus. The air-conditioning was also a huge bonus, especially during the warm afternoons. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed and authentic stay.

Excellent stay, the scenery and the sunrise were amazing

If you are looking for gold-plated bathroom fixtures and flat screen TV, don’t go there. BUT, if you want to spend time with a really great family that lives the eco friendly life-style most of us only talk about, you will be well rewarded for the time spent there. Life in Teotitlan moves at a slower pace than we were used to (and we live in rural Indiana) but we managed to get in step and for 17 days had the most enjoyable time of our five week vacation in the Oaxaca area. Pretty sure we’ll be back.
