We loved this place! The location is great - it is nestled between a beach on one side and a river on the other. The caretakers on location were extremely helpful and sweet. The house is beautiful and spotless. This is a great place for a large group, with plenty of beds and bathrooms. There are some restaurants a few mins away from where food can be ordered for pick up. The host was responsive and provided local recommendations. We had a wonderful time here and definitely deserves a thumbs up.

Our stay at The Riverside in Thonse village, Udupi, was nothing short of tranquil. True to its name, this homestay is nestled within a lush coconut plantation, offering the perfect escape into nature. Just a short 20-minute drive from Udupi’s coastal wonders, it serves as the perfect base for travellers and their quest for exploration. A special mention to Aldo & his mother, Felcy, who were always proactive in their communication. Aunty was quite welcoming and prompt in her responses on whatever we required. I had an amazing stay at this place! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had an absolutely stunning view—it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The amenities were top-notch, from the comfy bed and high-quality linens to the well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The host was super responsive and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. Arjun was truly a super host. I booked his place for my parents and they loved the place and service. Arjun also went out of his way to fulfil their last minute requirements and made their stay a very pleasant one.

We had a lovely stay over the weekend at Shettys river view farm. Although not directly on the river it’s just a few steps away from a rustic bridge from where we spent the full moon night looking at the river. The house is equipped with everything our large party needed to stay including lots of beddings, toileteries and other amenities. But, Besides all that, the star and highlight of our stay were the kind and ever smiling caretakers especially Jyothiakka. The place is maintained immaculately by them. She took care of every single need of ours ensuring that we have a memorable stay. The food her and husband made for us was fantastic. They are the real stars of this home stay and I would go back just for them. Thank you Jyothi and Sukesh!
