John and Deb are truly fabulous hosts. My children had an opportunity to walk around the land and meet some of the animals. John even allowed us to sample some of his delicious home-grown tomatoes. We felt very comfortable and at home in the surrounds. Not to mention the very generous continental breakfast offerings, making it easy for us to get back on the road for an early start. The dumpling house nearby, is very convenient and tasty. We would not hesitate to rebook.

Kelly and Max were fantastic hosts and very accommodating :) Their place is within easy access to the beach/marina, the convenience store, and a very nice trail - it was perfect for our time in Kinloch!

The house has a million dollar view! From the lounge to the two bedrooms, enjoyed spectacular scenery. The neighborhood is quiet and the night sky is very pretty. Heat pump kept us warm plus Smart TV with Netflix. Convenient 17mims drive to Taupo CBD for dinner. The bathroom is also large with double shower heads. The kitchen pantry is well stocked too.

Our 3rd visit and another amazing experience! As always the lake house is spotless and beautifully kept. Despite the gloomy wet weather the house is warm and cozy, with comfortable warms beds. The perfect spot for a family getaway. A quick walk to the lake front for a coffee is a great start to the day. A great base for adventures around Taupo 10/10 recommend
