“Mr & Mrs Takahashi were really lovely and kind hosts who showed us amazing hospitality in their beautiful 250 year old house. They provided excellent tips about where to eat & shop nearby, and even gave us a big basket of vegetables fresh from their garden when they discovered we would be cooking for ourselves! The house was very comfortable & warm, with cosy traditional Japanese tatami rooms which had beautiful views onto a private garden. Very quiet and peaceful. All the amenities were excellent. This is a fantastic Airbnb, I highly recommend a stay here if you are coming to Tokushima.”

“Staying with Anna's home in this hidden corner of Japan which I find myself in turned to be one of the best highlights of my trip to Japan, having enjoyed a long evening conversation with Anna and her mother in an old and traditional home with the most beautiful character, as though I had become Anna's sibling All the amenities are provided including WiFi and bath towel, air con and space age Japanese toilets with a large sink which has proved to be most helpful not to spill water on the floor. I had also enjoyed going for a stroll along the shrine temple and the view of rice fields and a stunning mountain backdrop and a double rainbow that I was lucky to witness. Kuwano is very much a countryside town located south of Anan, so local shops and stores may not be open at the most convenient of business hours, but rather the local cuisine including that of Anna's homegrown produce are the some of the most delicious food I have enjoyed throughout my trip in Japan. Anna is one of the greatest and most beautiful host I had the pleasure to meet and befriend during my first trip around the Shikoku region, I cannot recommend this place highly enough to all whom greet accordingly with utmost courtesy and cleanliness. With warmest regards.”
Enjoy! Staying a private room of Design Office. How about Spending some days in center of Tokushima like the locals? 8 min. on foot from Tokushima st.
“Quite a nice place. It was a guest house, so there was an office space and accommodation space but it was well separated and almost felt like renting a private room. I bought bread every morning for two consecutive days at the bakery in front of my house, and she is very kind and the bread is delicious. The communication was very easy thanks to the excellent English on the host Jiro. Also, thanks to good tourist information on Jiro, I could see every corner of Tokushima well. It's a great healing place when traveling alone or with two people.”
