The house is one large room and is located in Tøndermarsken in the southwestern corner of Southern Jutland, near Møgeltønder, Rudbøl and Tønder. There are large windows with views of nature and fields 360 degrees around and you can optionally close the view with blinds and make it more cozy in the evening as needed. In front of the house, the heron stands in the lake and there is the possibility of seeing buzzards, swallows, ducks, etc. as well as large flocks of starlings in spring and autumn. All this helps to provide a natural experience.

Gammeldige is an obvious starting point for special nature tourism: for example, go bird-watching in Magisterkogen, hiking on the Marsh Trail, which passes by the dike in the backyard parallel to Vidåen or around the Wadden Sea National Park. Terrace with grill is avalible just outside the door. Pets are Welcome. There is free parking in the driveway at the adress. Bikes kan be parked at covered terrasse. 5 minutes walking distance from lake park and city centre.

We live directly on the Wiedaudeich, which belongs to a large nature reserve with a fascinating birdlife and at the same time forms the border with Denmark. Here you can experience the famous sort sol, the black sun, in the spring and autumn, the breathtaking dance of ten thousand starlings in the evening sky.

The Wadden Sea, Fuhlenhörn swimming area, farms, a unique landscape, the right place for deep relaxation and recreation. We live next door - but not always and look forward to nice guests. For our guests we are always available by phone, email or WhatsApp. Our cleaning lady makes sure that everything shines and will make up the beds on request.
