The house has been renovated with lattice windows and some of the old timber has been preserved and is visible. Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Due to the ideal orientation, the rising sun first conquers the bathroom and kitchen, wanders during the day into the spacious living and dining area and then sets as the evening sun in the bedroom. The apartment convinces with uncompromising generosity with the wide view through the lush window front.

You can relax and start excursions in the area. The house is in an idyllic location on the Marschwanderweg. The apartment is located in a house half that is separately accessible to the guests. It offers a lounge area, a reading corner, a kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The hosts live in the other half of the house. In the guest garden you can relax or let off steam on the trampoline. An additional room in the passage area has been added.

We modernized the approximately 200 m² holiday home "Mein Nordstern" with a lot of love for detail in 2021. We have the house equipped and furnished as we like it best. In addition to design classics, there are high-quality beds and selected kitchen utensils that make the house modern and cozy overall. Our sauna is brand new from autumn 2023 onwards.
