The furnishings are appropriately rustic yet modern in every since of the word. Free, dependable, high-speed, fiber internet and a smart TV are just two of the recent upgrades. In winter enjoy the floor to ceiling stacked stone gas log fireplace. Hike to a mountain top or visit a rushing stream...all without leaving the property.

If you’re looking for adventure, our cabin is in a fantastic, centralized location to white water rafting, hiking trails including the Appalachian Trail, Smoky Mountain National Park, and Harrah’s Casino. Also enjoy the creekside nature path located on the property! Truly an ideal retreat anytime of the year.

Enjoy Lake Nantahala with beautiful views and crystal clear water at our Cabin. Bring your own boat or quietly explore the lake with our canoe and kayak. All the amenities needed to enjoy a fun filled family getaway. Kitchen fully stocked with all utensils you need to cook for a hungry family after a day on the lake. Close to hiking, (Bartram Trail, Appalachian Trail) whitewater rafting, flea markets, Tail of the Dragon and more. Many stairs to the lake. Not easy access for small children.

We can't adequately describe how peaceful it is to sit at the picnic table & listen to the wind through the trees or the birds serenade as the sky turns pink & purple over the Smoky Mountains. We purposely tucked our adorable Tiny Home into the woods to achieve the peaceful retreat you're looking for. You'll feel like the "Little Red Riding Hood" skipping through the woods as you escape the "Big Bad Wolf" of technology and stress. Evenings around the Firepit w/the stars are simply magical!

Mateo 39C at Nantahala Weddings & Events - no pets

The Mateos (named after our architect’s little son) are 4 small and separate bungalows with eye-popping views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains through an 8-foot sliding glass door. Each Mateo has a queen size bed, private bath, ac/heat, and a kitchenette with a Keurig coffeemaker, 4.4 cu. ft. refrigerator with freezer, air fryer, microwave, tableware, and glassware for two people. The Mateos are not handicap-accessible. Pets are never allowed – this is a pet-free space ($200 penalty).

Forget the world in this relaxing, private oasis right on the river. Bring your entire crew and unwind from the daily grind. Enjoy a sauna and a plunge in the river, or a game of pool. Nantahala has no cell service, but we have wifi, and the most amazing piece of heaven anyone could ask for. The river forms a horse-shoe shape around the cabin making you feel like you’re surrounded by nature. Plenty of room for cookouts and children to play. Nothing like a firepit right on the water!

Modern amenities, 3 mbps wi-fi & optional 25 mbps wi-fi via sat., free LD calling, Vz cell service & DirecTV & HD large screen TVs. Search for "Misty Laurel" on YouTube for several videos. Three levels with a bedroom and bath on each level. Each bedroom has a queen or king size bed. In the lower level, the bedroom has an additional daybed with a trundle. Two living areas. No sofa beds.
