It really is a cozy and beautiful house, the front of the house is the fjord, the view is fantastic, the Edna Bosse couple took care of the house very clean and tidy, every part of it felt their care of the house, and if given the opportunity, hope to stay again some summer.

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We had a lovely stay here and it was all we could have asked for. You can see the sea from the hut the view was beautiful. The accommodation was warm and the host provided tea and snacks which went down a treat after the long drive. If we ever come back we would stay here again.

An amazing experience and made our trip really unforgettable. The balcony is the best where we could enjoy the sunrise !

Fantastic location! Beautifully situated house with stunning views. Super well equipped kitchen. Heating worked fine, we've had up yo -5 Celsius and it had been nice and cosy anyway.

Lovely cozy old small cottage house, immediately felt like home <3 A little squank so vertigo on the first evening but it passed the next day. Went for daily morning swims in the sea, baked bread and skiid mountains. Perfect peaceful location on Kvaloya. Especially lovely snd functional kitchen, even had a smoothie blender and beautiful bowls. The road to the house tends to be undrivable if it snows and slushes but it worked great to arrange snow clearing directly with Siv’s brother Gaute who lives nearby (because if you park near the main road, then nobody can clear the snow). Ha det bra och tusen tack för allt!

What can I say. A great place to stay. Magnificent views from the window overlooking the sea. The kitchen is super equipped with different spices, oils, etc. You felt right at home. A personal message in the guestbook that greets you with the super tasty bread. Would go right there again. On the last day, even saw the aurora lights and get a message directly from Rakel, who made us aware of this. Super nice host who really understands what good hospitality is. I can only recommend it to anyone looking for a home in the far north.

I really enjoyed this cute little house located in the heart of Senja near all the nice photography spots! House is super cute! And I really liked all the attention to details from the host..such as giving my two Senja beers from a local brewery! Nice touch!

Words will never make justice to what we felt at this house. When we saw Bergsfjorden from the upper part of the road, we understood where we were landing. This place is magical. Inside and outside. The bad part was packing and leaving those windows full of joy behind.

I was allowed to stay at Bjørn's Airbnb 2 years ago and fell in love with the house and surroundings. I would claim that Bjørn owns one of the nicest Airbnb on this platform. But not only the house and the breathtaking view of the fjord but also the extremely friendly hospitality of Bjørn makes this place so special.

Everything was perfect

Very cozy apartment in a nice location close to the sea. Tidy and clean, so everything was tip-top. About 15/20 minute walk to the city center, so it's a nice little walk.

Very pleasant stay in the cabin. Impeccable house, absolutely beautiful view! Very quiet environment. The cabin is better than in the pictures. Very warm. Great stay!

This place is just we wanted for the stay we were looking forward in norway ! You'll find everything that you need in the house from tape to fishing rod :-) its beautiful, serene, located at very breathtaking and eye-pleasing corner of the Meistervik

Stunning place, responsive host, panorama view over the fjord. Many nice tours in the area. Great access to both 24/7 supermarket and a sauna in the harbour. Warmly recommend

A Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this beautiful holiday rental was nothing short of amazing! clearly easy to follow instructions meant we got into the property hassle free, even with a very late arrival. The property itself was stunning—immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views made it the perfect escape from everyday life. The host was super helpful, helping us with warnings of bad weather, roads closed due to avalanches and just generally helpful information. If you’re looking for a perfect holiday retreat with a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Morten and Jannick were extremely responsive and helpful throughout. We saw the northern lights each night we were there and watching them while laying in the warm comfort of bed inside the dome was just amazing and a completely different experience from the large 'aurora hunting' tours in the area. We did several days of aurora hunting early our trip before relaxing the last couple days here. I should say, it is very remote! Bring groceries with you, though they had many amenities like coffee, tea, hot cocoa, spices, cooking oil already. We absolutely loved this place and Skulsfjord is really idyllic in general. They're also offering snowshoeing and other experiences in the area now, we were really excited to try snowshoeing but wound up staying up so late watching the aurora each night that it never happened. Thanks for a great stay, Morten and Jannick! We hope to return someday.
