Great place for couples or a small family having a King Size bedroom and a Day bed on bedroom/landing. Just be aware you have to walk through this bedroom to access the main bedroom.

With parking for one car you can easily enjoy everything this award winning welsh town has to offer, from chocolate and art to fantastic food and drink. With many local walks available straight from the front door, including the National Trust park 'Dinefwr'. Our cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay, we also welcome guests with dogs.

The Cottage

Newly renovated, this lovely 2 bedroom cottage is located on the beautiful Whitney Estate, 5 miles from Hay-on-Wye and a 30-minute drive to Brecon Beacon National Park. A short walk away, the village of Whitney-on-Wye offers a riverside pub, canoeing and gourmet shop/café. Walking paths weave through the property and are easily accessible. In addition to numerous area activities including hiking and canoeing, the estate offers salmon fishing beats which are available for guests.
