The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Pure nature! Here you can experience a natural wooden cabin in the forest. Want to end the evening cozy by the wood-burning fireplace or on the large wooden terrace? The nearest town with restaurants and supermarkets is only a few minutes away. Electricity and running water are available. This is thoroughly purified rainwater, not drinking water. Drinking water can be obtained from a tap about 500 meters away. The cabin is self-sufficient except for electricity.

Our 45 m² apartment Landluft on our farm Hermannslust, on the Swabian Alb is in an idyllic secluded location surrounded by forest and meadows and can accommodate up to 4 guests (possibly 1 additional child in a travel cot). Our apartment is the ideal place for rest and relaxation, but also for families and as a starting point for excursions. Dairy cows and their offspring, chickens, horses, cats, dogs, goats, sheep and rabbits live on our organic farm.

The living space is about 70 m² and includes a small entrance area, hallway, toilet, kitchen, a spacious living room with balcony, open design kitchen and fireplace, a cozy bedroom for a maximum of two people, a dressing room/relaxation room with a large mirror sliding door wardrobe and a chic bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower at ground level. Alb-Apart

New design holiday apartment as a pure wooden building on the Swabian Alb. The kitchen is equipped with an oven/ microwave combination, 2 cooktops, a fridge/ freezer combination and a dishwasher. Washer-dryer is available. Kitchen, hand and bath towels are also provided. From Steinhilben you can reach numerous attractive excursion destinations on the Swabian Alb, but also towards the Black Forest and Lake Constance region in a short time.

Room on the Alb

We rent an apartment with a bathroom and toilet on the first floor of our house. The bedroom has a large double bed (2 × 2 m). There is also space for a children's travel bed. Adjacent is the bathroom with large shower and separate toilet. Next door is a large living room with a sofa bed as another sleeping option, TV and a cozy dining area. A fully equipped kitchen and washing machine are also available.
