Sakura Ekan is a private guest house in Sakura Echo, a symbol of Shinshu, at the foot of Zenkoji Temple, a national treasure. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Zenkoji Temple. It is a modern Japanese-style building that has been renovated to take advantage of the retro atmosphere of the Taisho period architecture. On the way to Zenkoji Temple, there is the quaint Shukubo-dori, and beyond Zenkoji Temple, there is also Jojakyo Park, where Nagano citizens relax, the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum, and the Higashiyama Kaii-kan, so why not take a leisurely stroll.  There are also many cafes, bakeries, Italian, French restaurants, and eateries near the facility, making it convenient to eat out. You can spend time, being surrounded by nature... reading books slowly, taking a walk the mountain, listening songs of birds while lie on a hammock in the forest.
