Vacation rentals with a kayak in Tulum

I can't recommend the Mahayana enough! You can't beat the location--peaceful, private beach, close to my favorite restaurant Hartwood ,and South Tulum--and the private taco stand onsite was fantastic. The staff were helpful and kind and the property manager was responsive and communicative. The home and rooms were beautiful and well-appointed. If a relaxing Tulum vacation is what you're after, this is the place for you.

This was my second Airbnb experience and a first for many in the group and we all absolutely loved the experience. All of the photos were completely accurate and then some. The home was clean and welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. The pictures don't express enough how nice the home is. If you are looking for a beach experience this is not the place, but if you want beachfront privacy with a great view of the of the waves this place will not disappoint. The infinity pools and hot tub are more than enough. My favorite part of the experience was the ease of communication and the recommended vendors. The chef was excellent and very professional. After a long day of travel there is nothing better than arriving to the house to the smell of a delicious lunch prepared by chef Jisus. The airport transport service, balloon vendor, and excursion vendors were all top notch. I could spend days expressing how good of an experience this was. I would highly recommend this property to anyone

We loved our stay! Beautiful home in a fabulous location with several restaurants, a beautiful beach, kayaks, paddle board, a cenote and diving instruction nearby. Helpful hosts and wonderful care takers - Neri and Luis. There were six of us traveling (parents and adult kids) and we were very comfortable. We rented a car which made it easy to get around. Highly recommend!

This house was a fantasy. Incredible attention to detail, interesting architecture and interiors and an extremely comfortable atmosphere inside and out. The views are sounds and friendly staff make this place even better. I will be booking again when I can.

Excellent home for those who want to disconnect from routine concrete jungle materialistic world .. it has been decades since living in a place which is so much connected to the nature with 4 miles of private beach , no microwave so u can rather eat or cook the food naturally , no cell tower signals , so u connect to the world with host provided starlink internet, with each bedroom equipped with ACs, total home easily supports 12 to 15 people to stay , it’s a wonderful and one of unique experience those who want to disconnect from routine lifestyle .. the staff is very friendly for those who are visiting with big groups family and friends it’s a nice place from Mayan arch in tulum beach area it would take 90mins on a very bad rough road but worth the drive .. we would love to visit the place again ..

Casa Playa Maya is like paradise and it’s the best location and house we have ever stayed in! Beautiful and calm beach right outside the house with excellent snorkeling. You can also easily paddle the kayaks provided out to the reef to snorkel. Stunning view and sunrise from the master bedroom, as well as from the balconies and terrasses (we used the barbeque on the terrace almost every day). Everything is very clean and well taken care of, and the layout of the house is great. Glynis is very nice and helpful and answered quickly on all the questions we had. Luis and the team that takes care of the house and the beach are amazing. We will go back!

Awesome location that looks exactly like the pictures! Don’t worry about the weed - it’s not a lot and gets cleaned up daily. Highly recommend you get Samuel to cook your meals - absolutely delicious and cheaper and more convenient than going out. Cheryl is a great communicator and dealt with an issue we had as quickly as possible. The road in is as rough as people describe but manageable in the rental car which was not 4WD. The house has everything you need - it is not overly posh so makes it immensely liveable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The community felt very safe. The issue we had was two properties had hired private DJ’s so it was less than peaceful until security contained the noise. Cheryl even offered to move us to a different house to get away from the noise but it was not required.
