Nostalgic prefabricated motel unit built in the 1960's. Completely remodeled 2019, located on wooded lot gently sloping to Lake Tuscaloosa.
“Very cute and cozy place to stay! It was exactly as advertised, beautiful view of the lake, and perfect spot for our quick weekend trip. Ken is an incredible host, accommodated us with an early check in, and always responded immediately to all messages. We will definitely stay again if we are back in town!”
Suspended above the treetops canopied in leafy branches you'll find the most unique place to rest your head in Tuscaloosa. Retreat, relax and recharge in this rustic treehouse with modern amenities.
“We stayed at Para's place two nights and loved the design of the tree house; the decor was perfect for this spot! Games are thoughtfully provided and books on birding, trees, and tree houses very thoughtful and interesting to read! The beds are very comfortable with fresh linens just like new. Very roomy bathroom with an accessible shower are a treat. The small kitchen area provides a small refrigerator and microwave, but bring your own dishes and silverware if you plan to eat anything other than snacks in the treehouse. There are two benches and some folding chairs for seating inside and a patio table and chairs on the deck, but no comfortable seating inside. We understand that they are working on the seating issue.”
Cozy tiny house, nestled on the bluff of the Black Warrior River
“This riverside home is a perfect weekend getaway spot. The cabin is right on the water with a balcony to look at boats going by. The boat bed is very comfy and offers a distraction from everyday life. I will definitely be keeping this place on my list for future visits!”
