Vacation rentals with a kayak in Uturoa

This place was just as advertised; we had a great time! If you are looking for a hopping nightlife and the bustle of town, this rental might not be right for you. If you are looking for a beautiful private secluded beach with easy access to kayak to the motu or snorkel the reef right out your front door, then this is the place for you. We had a great time snorkeling, kayaking, visiting the motu, watching the sun set and lightning strike when it was raining, and generally enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty Raiatea has to offer. We rented a car for some of our stay and crused the island to find a short hike here and there and we visited the pearl farm on the other side of the island. I recommend this site without any reservations as long as a quiet get away is your goal.

We loved our stay with Cathy. The house is very nice. The weather was not in the game so we couldn't kayak to the motu offered by our host. The bedding was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The garden, terrace and dock are very well appointed. The house is well secured. The many caravans as well as shops are close by. In the evening, rays and black spot sharks (harmless) pass in front of the bungalow. A real show!!! In short! Only compliments on this place and this hostess.

One of those places where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. An unforgettable stay for the whole family that will remain long as oustanding souvenir. Kids loved jumping in the water from the pier just across the road, easy ride to the shop by bike to get a fresh baguette in the morning, and so much to see and do around the island! You can go there eyes closed for a great stay, we would love to come back some time in the future!

A beautiful and peaceful stay, close enough to the things that we needed and equally isolated like we were hoping for. Thierry was responsive, gave helpful and detailed instructions and made us feel at home during our stay.

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

Amazing views of the water! Waking up and enjoying a coffee on the private deck while enjoying the sunrises and sunsets was simply breathtaking. Home was kept extremely tidy and clean. Secure entrance into the property. Would stay again!

A spotless accommodation, new, clean and very well-equipped, the bedding is more than comfortable, worthy of a luxury hotel, we slept like babies, the linens smelled too good. Tastefully decorated, the little details that make all the difference and justify its price, everything came together to have a great stay despite the bad weather. A little extra for the Polynesian hosting, you immediately feel very comfortable. We who also have an rbnb on Raiatea, we highly recommend this listing. If we had to find something to say, it would be the orientation of the bungalow towards the mountain instead of the sea. But we'll come back with the family this time. Well located and spacious accommodation. Wonderful lagoon view from a wide terrace. Quiet and relaxing place. No contact with the mentioned owner (Martine) but with the co-host's mother who was very welcoming. Recommended stay.
