Vacation rentals with a kayak in Uusimaa

Lovely space, very comfortable bed, shower was insanely good and the apartment slept really well!

We had an amazing week in this lakeside property. The photos represent this house perfectly, but can't give the true sense of peacefulness and quiet. It is such a luxurious and relaxing place to stay. We stayed in April and although it was cold on some days (-10 degrees) we still managed tennis and a dip in the sea before a sauna. We are a family of 2 adults and four children and the house was a perfect size for us. Two of the double beds can be separated to be singles if required. Stay North recommended some local walks in the National Park only 15 mins drive away, which were absolutely stunning and well worth visiting. Thanks for a perfect holiday.

This place was a lovely, warm place to stay for a busy commuter, but due to scheduling reasons, free bikes and other lovely things went unused. I felt like the expected visitor in Katarina's home, and the welcome was the warmest and I got great service. This time, for example, I didn't have time to enjoy a luxurious paw bathing - next time. The self-serve breakfast was delicious-especially the dark root bread, apricot jam, and quality coffee. Everywhere in the home was beautiful, thoughtful objects and set ups, the bed was excellent and the room got a total blackout. I've hardly ever slept on a trip this great. Recycling is exemplary and the spirit of the home. I recommend this place to everyone, but especially for a peace-loving aesthetic, a traveler who enjoys the sea and nature, and appreciates the homeowners.

Staying with Tiina was a holistic experience, like coming home. The welcome was warm, natural, and friendly, both for me and the pet. The wood-burning sauna in the cozy yard had good steam. A birch-scented, beautifully-covered breakfast table made a new day. Pittoreski, a tastefully decorated home was atmospheric. Amazing scenic trails for outdoor activities just a stone's throw away. Definitely going on!

We loved the location and access to walk on the frozen lake, our daughter played in the garden and loved sleeping in the mezzanine upstairs. The house was warm without even needing to put the fire on. It felt homely and was well equipped. The hot tub, fairy lights, games and play equipment for kids were all lovely additions. Host was helpful and communicated during the stay. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Everything went great, besides missing a few linens. Location is very good!

Sebastian's second home was wonderfully atmospheric, in a quiet location, yet easily accessible from Helsinki by car. The cottage showed the owners' handprint, the sauna got tasty steam and swims from a good dock. The use ofthe bio toilet was simple, although at first there was a bit of a suspicion in a traveling party. Messaging with Sebastian was straightforward and seamless. All in all, my husband and I had a great time at the cottage and would have loved to stay longer with the migratory birds of spring! I highly recommend this rarity!

Very comfortable, spacious and peaceful home for the whole group of friends and dog. Well-equipped and beautiful house with extra amenities like a hot tub. Communication went really well too!

We really enjoyed our stay. Vesa was extremely friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable, homely accomodation. Sauna was great and we had memorable gallery visit. We'd recommend this place it was really peaceful with excellent hosts.

The accommodation was really located in the tranquility of the forest, where you could hear birds and forest animals, especially in the mornings. Everything was easily accessible in the first cabin. Very atmospheric and compact accommodation. The sauna had excellent steam. All in all a relaxing and lovely stay.

We had a great time at Anne's mökki. It is surprisingly close to Helsinki and there is a supermarket literally 5 minutes away. It is still a very isolated and private place, its own peninsula with great views, especially at sunset. There's plenty to do, but you need to embrace the Finnish way :-) so be ready for unusual and creative bathroom routines. But this only makes the trip more memorable and different. We enjoyed kayaking, sauna, hot tub and sitting around the fire in the evenings. Anne was very helpful, the house manual is very complete and she was always easily reachable. Our only negative moment was when we had to leave :-)
