Ecological unique historic water reserve

Perfect for nature lovers, this ecological retreat beside our wildflower meadow is the perfect place to unwind. Our unique former water reserve in the grounds of our C18 wine chateau has been lovingly transformed into a 32m2 off-grid bed and breakfast suite with a king bed, shower room/toilet, private terrace and equipped outdoor kitchen. Guests can enjoy all of our other facilities including our stunning heated pool and grounds. Not suitable for children, pets or those with reduced mobility.

Hidden away at the end of a quiet country lane in southern Charente, it is situated along the lower southern boundary of Les Chauvins, with its own entrance and private courtyards to front and back. A large pool nestles within the stone walls of a former barn and the grounds offer ample places to play, relax and enjoy the views.

The guest house "Le figuier du clos d'Emilion" adjoins our house, which has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished to offer all modern comforts. A pretty cottage set in a water mill, it is ideal for a couple, but can also accommodate a family of up to 4 people. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchenette, and use of the swimming pool during the summer months, and for the winter months we have a pellet stove in the main living area, and a radiator in the bedroom upstairs. The bathroom has a heated towel rail.
