“We can only recommend this address. We are expected and greeted with a big smile upon our arrival. The accommodation is perfect, clean, large enough for 4. The garden is beautiful. The children were able to enjoy the trampoline. They appreciated all the little touches like the cookies, and the good fresh eggs from the henhouse that we tasted as an omelet in the early morning! We had a space to secure our bikes. Internet access and TV are also available. Small essentials are also provided such as salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, ... I still wish them a long life in the guest house because it is deserved. Thank you for this night :-)”

“What more can I say, Claire’s place was the perfect weekend getaway. The main reason for visiting the area was to visit Bruges and Claire’s place is just an easy 30 min drive into town. Although the space is a studio, it is quite large, well designed and tastefully decorated. The floor to ceiling windows accentuates the space rather well allowing wonderful views of the town below as well as the sandy beach. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves was icing on the cake. Claire’s studio has a full-sized kitchen, which includes a large refrigerator, a dishwasher and a combination stove, microwave, and convection oven. There is also a toaster oven and enough plates, cups, pots and pans, and utensils if you decide to cook instead of dining at one of the many restaurants recommended by Claire. A full-sized bathroom is accessible just outside of the main area and mud room. The mud room also doubles as a storage area. Built in closets house everything needed to keep the place neat and clean. Entrance into the Building is only accessed by key and an European sized elevator is always standing by to whisk you to the 6th floor studio. The surrounding area is great for running (along the beach or paved/tiled running path), and is also full of friendly passerby’s. The highlight of the stay is getting to meet Claire. She’s a very vibrant individual and very easy to talk to. So much so, we found ourselves conversing for at least 30 minutes on each side of our stay. Check-in is easy as Claire walks you through everything in the studio to include the two cabinets filled with pamphlets for the surrounding area and Bruges. In conclusion, our stay was fantastic and we look forward to visiting Claire the next time we are in town. If your destination is Bruges, I highly recommend Claire’s place. An ideal itinerary would be a Friday arrival, a full day in the charming city of Bruges on Saturday capped of with dinner in nearby Oostende and a full day of sand and relaxation on the beach just a mere 30 meters from the front door.”
