The village of Herbeys is 550 m above sea level, on a south-facing hill, just 12 km from Grenoble, 5 km from Uriage and its Thermal Baths and 23 km from Chamrousse, ski resort of the Belledonne range. It has a bar restaurant, a farmers' market, as well as a market on Sundays. Several walking trails are within walking distance of the property. The village is quiet for a restful night!

It took us 1 year of work to restore all the charm to this (very) old stone building where we took up residence, and where we reserved an independent space to create, with love, the Gîte des Nines! Quality materials, new amenities, etc... Less than a 10-minute walk to the village with all amenities. Frequently asked question, what to provide for coffee? Small studio in Les Glovettes (Villard-de-Lans) with its ski cellar at the slopes. Skis on foot in winter and from beautiful hikes! Very quiet environment, very nice view, many hikes (Himalayan walkways) and water activities in season. We speak English (a little bit).
