The beach is only 700 meters from the house, and one of Denmark's best sandy beaches, with dunes and very child-friendly. Whether the cottage is used for relaxation, coziness by the wood stove or trips to the beach and in the woods, it is a really good starting point to relax from everyday life and enjoy life. A super nice cottage for the family going on summer vacation or a weekend trip out of town.

With us at Munkebjerggård you can sit back in comfortable and quiet surroundings, relax and let your gaze wander over the meadowed grasslands. Here are great hikes, challenging cycling terrain and 15 minutes to the beach. Our house is modern and fully heated with underfloor heating and hot water. There is a ceiling for tilting and great light in the open plan with a double bed in each floor and bathroom on the ground floor. On the farm, we run a smokehouse and farm shop on weekends.

Fra områdets skrænter kan I nyde de enestående solnedgange, hvor havets farve forvandles i røde og gule nuancer inden solen forsvinder ned i havet. Huset har nyt charmerende badeværelse.

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
