Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vila do Bispo

The location is a dream for those seeking peace and quiet. Sunrise around 7:30 was a perfect start to the day and then the sun warmed up during breakfast. In the evening, we used the oven every day, so it was cozy and warm (wood available - thanks for that!). For the bathroom in the morning there was a small electric radiator, because the night temperatures fluctuated from 6 degrees to 12 degrees - so it was quite fresh in the morning. We enjoyed the time here very much, also always chatted a little with Andy and Astrid, who take care of the grounds/house very lovingly.

The flat is equipped with everything you need if not even more :)!! We loved our stay!

Superb house in a great location

Always a pleasure to stay here. Martina is a superb host and the house is an absolute gem.

The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We stayed in Sagres for a few days and were even able to work on site thanks to the good Internet. Nearby are many beautiful beaches and small cafes. The supermarket is also not far away, so we were also able to do spontaneous shopping on foot. All in all, a very nice place to spend a vacation (also for a longer time). The pomegranate tree in the garden sweetened our breakfast every morning. Hopefully the apples will be ripe again on our next visit. 🥰

We had a lovely stay at Maria’s place. We had our dog with us and it was extremely well set up for the dog. Safe, enclosed space to let the dog roam outside. Close to the beach and the main road and the shop but quiet. Outdoor BBQ was great. Off street parking. We stayed for a week and it was as just what we needed.

We felt super comfortable with Britta in Hortas, the apartment is super nice and tastefully decorated. A very good choice if you are looking for a quiet place to relax, we will be happy to come back.

We spent at Sara´s place one week and it was worth it. If you want to experience atmosphere of cozy Portuguese house and beautiful little village than it is the best choice. We loved the terrace although the weather unfortunately was not on our side too enjoy it properly.:) Sara and Georgio take care of you and make everything works. Welcome wine was lovely surprise.

We loved our stay, the house is very comfortable and clean and has everything you need. Excellent communication with immediate responses.

Our first visit to Portugal was unforgettable thanks to this apartments - spacious, clean and cozy, with amazing ocean view. Apartments are fully equipped with everything you need. On the TV-tabel you find the book with all important information, the owner explained everything so detailed, that you truly won't need anything else ;) The beach is reachable in a walking distance, the same with the shops and restaurants. If you drive a car, nearby are located big supermakets - Aldi, Lidl, Continente. Lagos marketplace with fresh fish and fruits is awesome, but maybe a little bit more expensive. Relatively sightseeing - the Sagres castle, Ponta da Piedade, Farol do Cabo de São Vicente - must see to get into the atmosphere of breathtaking, wildly-amazing Portugese nature. In overall, this apartments are simply superb, we felt ourselves very comfortable and had a pleasant stay, that exceeded our expectations. Thank You very much, Robert John and Sally!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Pedralva. Leslie’s place was perfect for us and just a lovely space and spot!

We had a fabulous time at Paul's place. The apartment is big with large bedrooms, plenty of storage and a lovely terrace with loungers and a table for outdoor dining. Kitchen has everything you need. The apartment is in a quiet residential area, with a heated pool which was lovely to relax in. Burgau is an ideal place to stay, especially if you are looking for a quieter place but with plenty of great restaurants and the beautiful beach less than 10 minutes’ walk. We will definitely come back to this place if we come back to the Algarve! Thank you, Paul, for all the recommendations too.

Claudia’s apartment is a real gem of an airbnb. Situated right on the front in Burgau, it’s a stones throw from the sea and great restaurants. The apartment itself was full of generous little touches that really made it a home away from home. Thank you so much Claudia!

We loved Lucia’s place. Dazzling view of the ocean, very quiet, well above the town. Definitely worth it.

This home is spectacular- it feels very private, although you are inside of a resort. It was possible via a beach route to walk to the town, which is a really fun surf town with really good restaurants. You should certainly have a car at this location. There are excellent grocery stores within driving distance and we took advantage of the various eating tables and cooking at the house. We went to see live entertainment in town on a couple of nights , which was a lot of fun. We had no problem getting reservations , but we were here 3rd week of May - in season I would imagine reservations should be down more in advance. The lighthouse and the beaches near the town are fantastic. The West coast is a must see - rent e-bikes it’s only a 20 min drive to great start points - the hiking is full of lovely viewpoints and the tourist offices in every town- including Sagres is a great source of recommendations! Pay to heat the pool- it is a lovely pool and should be enjoyed ! GREAT HOUSE

The villa was perfect for our annual family holiday. The kids loved the pool and the accommodation has been built to an impressively high spec. The kitchen in particular is well stocked and easy to use. Set in the hills behind Salema, the villa has huge, well kept grounds, which are secluded and private. Pleasant walks can be found from the doorstep. Highly recommended.

Hello, there were five of us who spent a wonderful two weeks at the property. Everything went well. It was clean, Sebastian even brought us a vacuum cleaner...;) The layout with two bathrooms and the bedrooms worked. The pool is wonderful and warm if you pull the protective cover over it in the evening! We would definitely come again…Very nice area with many excursion destinations or for hiking, beaches, restaurants, shopping all ten minutes by car!

Ana is an outstanding host. Very nice, helpful and always approachable. The house is in a very nice location, very nice and clean and well equipped.

As a group of friends we had an amazing time. We liked the peaceful and quiet surrounding and the amazing living room and kitchen where we could cook together and watch TV.

We have had a lovely week staying at this beautiful villa, with our 3 grown up children and their partners. We loved the pool, hot tub and lovely garden. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. All communications with Margot were helpful and she always replied very quickly. We had a small issue on holiday which was dealt with immediately we contacted her, Would definitely love to return to this villa.
