Vacation rentals in Vimmerby Municipality

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole and Tobias house. It is a truly extraordinary experience to spend time in such a remote place. We could see the most beautiful starry nights and at days you could hear and see a lot of animals around the house. Nicole was quick replying, proactive and even brought us some of the eggs her hens laid and Tobias gave us a warm welcome even though we arrive pretty late at night. We had an altogether great time and would love to come back sometime.

A stunning and beautiful location: the house, the surroundings, the lake, the drive to the house, the chambers, the decorations, the playhouse, … too much to sum it all up. We felt privileged to stay here. We felt like a lord and lady of the mansion. Wild animals roam free on the premises (deer, badger, fox, wild boar, … ) and there are plenty of walks from the house and in the area. There is also a lovely bathing place in Ishult - a couple of miles down the road. The only thing we missed was wifi (internet connectivity). Especially because there was also a bad 4G signal.

My family and I had a great stay in Pierre's house. We used it as base for a visit to Astrid Lindgren Park. The location is really beautiful and peaceful and the children played outside without screens and phones the whole day (which usually never happens). The place is well equipped for children with toys, swings and a trampolin. As most Swedish country houses, the house is not luxury, but we also didn't expect that and who cares when it is couzy and the surroundings are as great like this.

The home was nicely divided for our needs with grandparents and families with children of 1, 3 and 5 years and dog with nice fenced garden with opportunities for the kids for the trampoline and was a perfect place for us in quiet area and with easy access to Hultsfred and the lake with swimming opportunity and barbecue fun. A great starting point for us with trips to Virum Elgpark, Astrid Lindgren's World and Vestervik. This place is definitely recommended.

We felt very comfortable in the Bjarkes cottage. The house is very spacious and you will find everything you need for the holiday. It is a good starting point for many excursions in Småland - for example Vimmerby, Bullerbü or the Astrid Lindgren World. Despite the location in nature, the accommodation is well connected in terms of traffic, but the street nearby can already be heard. The garden is very well maintained and invites you to a nice barbecue evening. Thanks Bjarke for the hospitality!

A nice and fresh place with nice details. The environment was calm and pleasant with walking distance to Astrid Lindgren's world. The host Andreas had a good response. One plus was that there was furniture/equipment/toys adapted for babies/smaller children.

Thank you for this amazing place to stay! It was a once in a livetime experience. Everything is so lovely decorated. Julia and Erik were so personal and very very friendly to us. All four of us loved to sleep in the hay. Our son (5) learned table-tennis, our daughter enjoyed all of the lovely little games! breakfast besides the cows was fun! Thank you!
