Beautiful Smålandshus in vibrant village. Room for a maximum of 12 people. The house has seven rooms and a spacious and well-equipped country kitchen. Two bathrooms with shower and WC. Washing machine and dryer. In the garden there are football goals, swings, barbecue and outdoor furniture. Charming cottage near pool!

Charming simple little cottage, feel free to follow us at Instag*am, where there are more pictures, search @Lille.dalen . The cottage is located individually by the gravel road surrounded by gardens and forest. Here you live easily close to nature. There is no electricity or running water, which allows you to light candles, fire in the stove, shower outside in our outdoor shower, cook over an open fire/wood stove, grill or on the gas kitchen. Charming outhouse is available. A couple of km away there is a municipal pool with dressing room and shower.

A few minutes to the closest lake by foot, nice hiking terrain just outside the door, and of course the climate of the Swedish east coast, sunny and warm. The cozy town Gamleby (= Old village) is 15 minutes away. Gamleby is at the end of Gamleby coastal inlet which leads to Västervik, a city with 21,000 inhabitans, a diverce city with restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can get to Astrid Lindgren’s world in Vimmerby 40 minutes by car.

Utsikten mot sjön skapar förutsättningar för härliga naturupplevelser - året om! Vintertid värmer härliga brasor och på sommaren svalkar sjön! Med kanot (hyr av värden) kan du uppleva Kalmar Läns största sjö endast med paddeltagens ljud som hörs och få möjligheten att se fridlysta djur, alltifrån havsörn till utter.

We have recently gotten a wood-fired hot tub, which, however, you have to pay extra to rent. Boat, electric boat raft and three kayaks available for rent.

Welcome to our charming and rural cottage in the enchanting world of Astrid Lindgren. Here you will find everything you need to enjoy peace and nature. Particularly attractive is a wonderful insulated conservatory with fireplace, a beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounding forest and a large garden with lots of trees and greenery. From summer 2026, we will have 2 additional beds in the annex with its own small bathroom (+€100 extra when booking)

Stay in the middle of the woods by a lake but only 13 kilometers (3 km gravel road) from Vimmerby. In the large cottage, there is a refrigerator, LPG stove and fresh water in a container (not running water) but there is lake water in the faucet at the outdoor kitchen. The small cottage has an indoor toilet and fresh water in containers. The electricity is powered by a battery bank and solar cells. Outdoor sauna and boat available.

This accommodation is good for a family who wants to get out into the countryside and stay secluded but at the same time close to several popular tourist attractions. Here you will stay well with large spaces for the children to play on and the adults to relax. Approximately 200 meters to Bullerbyn, 15 minutes drive into Astrid Lindgrens värld. Many nice child-friendly lakes within 10-15 minutes drive.
