Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vimmerby Municipality

Staten is a well accommodated residence in a very quiet and beautiful surrounding. Andreas is a great host who had foreseen some chocolate biscuits as welcome gift for our family, which our children greatly appreciated. He was also at all times very responsive to questions we had and gave plenty of suggestions to explore the region. We can surely recommend this house to all future guests and hopefully they will have a similar positive experience as we had.

Our stay was very special! After a strenuous journey, we were able to get into our house very easily. We were greeted very warmly and we felt immediately welcome and worry-free. The rooms were very cozy and full of love for detail. A mix of modern and home style with Swedish art. What I noticed particularly positively was the cleanliness and service thought. Everything was taken care of, fresh sheets, towels, shower gel and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, laundry facilities. For bad weather or fun evenings, there is a Wii room in the basement. Communicating with the hosts was easy, quick, and straightforward. We were able to communicate fluently in German and got nice insider excursion tips. Within walking distance there are beautiful walks through the woods. Unfortunately, our stay was far too short, but we will definitely come back to you :)

Our family of four spent two days at Linda’s placeas a basis to explore Astrid Lindgren’s world: really the perfect place! The girls loved the garden and trampolin, we felt right away at home. Definitely recommended!

We stayed with Katja and Micha in Sweden paradise for a week with our two children! The location is beautifully quiet and idyllic between meadows and a forest where we could pick lots of blueberries. We had our own garden area with many fruit trees, a sandbox and hammock. There are chickens on the farm that we were allowed to feed regularly, the children could watch the mucking out and a trampoline was also available to us!The house was charmingly furnished, a real Swedish dream, very bright and friendly with many bouquets of flowers and little things for the children! We felt incredibly comfortable and welcome right from the start. From the vacation home, we visited Astrid Lindgren World, the katthulthof and the elk park in Vimmerby. We will gladly recommend the guest house and will be happy to come back!

My family and I had a great stay in Pierre's house. We used it as base for a visit to Astrid Lindgren Park. The location is really beautiful and peaceful and the children played outside without screens and phones the whole day (which usually never happens). The place is well equipped for children with toys, swings and a trampolin. As most Swedish country houses, the house is not luxury, but we also didn't expect that and who cares when it is couzy and the surroundings are as great like this.

That was the best place I visited in Sweden so far. Lovely house in a nice area. Sauna and a lake next to it, the wifi signal was strong. 100% we will come back

We had a great week walking with our kids in the footsteps of Astird Lindgreen. Bullerbü, Katthult, Vimmerby and Mariannelund were easily accessible. There is a nice swimming lake near the apartment. The food at Anki's cafe is highly recommended. We have experienced a lot and have recovered well at the same time thanks to the spacious apartment and the tranquility in Karlstorp. Thank you!

We stayed with Frida for the second time. We enjoyed it very much again. Astrid Lindgren Welt is within walking distance. In the other direction about 2 km is a beautiful swimming lake. It's been a great time. We'll be back!

Large and nice house with everything we needed. A little worn but nothing that affects safety or function. Great location to get to Astrid Lindgren's world, Kvills National Park and swimming areas. There wasn't much to do in the Gold Ring but it didn't matter. I would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in Johan's house. The house and garden are very large and we enjoyed spending a lot of time there. Johan and Anna were easy to reach, very friendly and helpful! We felt very comfortable!

Perfect place for visiting Astrid Lindgrens värld

We (family with two adults and two children) spent an extended weekend in Frida's lovely home, which was our base while we were in Astrid Lindgren's World. Everything worked perfectly, easy and quick communication both before and after. If we come back to Vimmerby, we are happy to stay here again. Clear recommendation from here!

Nice house, nice outdoor environment, lovely surroundings. We were three generations away. Everyone felt adaptable, could relax and just feel at home. Definitely worth a visit. Would love to come again
