This rustic beauty is a hidden gem nestled in the wilderness, offering incredible views of the mountains and free bird concerts at dusk and at dawn. If you want a relaxing and peaceful getaway with your loved ones this place is an excellent option. And, you won’t need to worry about food and safety, as Mehdi and the caretakers will always be there to help you. Of course, we were told that we could be left completely to ourselves if we wished that, so you have that option as well. This plan also has the advantage of a private viewpoint from a steep precipice, which may be rare, especially for a place that’s affordable. Access to this place itself is a bit of adventure, as it involves 2 kms of off-roading. Although, access to the areas within the premises are steep, so older people have to watch out. Also, the tap water is a bit muddy if you care about it. Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and it’s pity that we couldn’t plan to stay longer. Kudos to Mehdi and his team!

Amazing Place! Property is 30 Mins from Kodai Lake and is located on a small hill. The Bungalow is clean and had a functioning kitchen. We had caretakers Selvam and Mary who helped us in setting up the Bonfire and morning breakfast. Bungalow is surrounded by forest and is on a small hill. You need to push your vehicle on a slope to reach parking and it can get slippery when raining. There is an early morning trek that you can take to reach on top of the hill and is worth it. Property was spacious and well maintained, you can easily fit 9-10 adults in it. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful stay where you want to be isolated from the hustle of the city.

My parents stayed on this Airbnb, and they had a wonderful time. The caretakers were very kind and very accommodating. My parents loved their company too. The place had scenic views and a very calm and peaceful vibe, which was exactly what I wanted for them.

Amazing stay I had Been with family location and the view early morning is totally worth visiting Not to forget to specify the host of the property was so kind right from the time we booked the property (almost a month before visit) responded so fast every-time I dropped him a message with a query . And the person who was assisting at the property is a gem . He never disturbed us with any restrictions rather helped us so well Would highly recommend if u visit with a family and definitely a must staycation with friends too

A gem of a place. Easily one of the nicest Airbnbs we have stayed in. The hosts, Helene and Vishnu, their family, and the local community who work in the farm are lovely people. They are around for all queries, but leave you with ample privacy. The cottage is tastefully done, it seamlessly blends into the setting and each nook and corner allows the outside to creep in. Nature provides the rest of the magic, it’s beautiful beyond description. We do hope that we’ll be able to visit again.

A beautiful home with incredible views, it's the best place we've stayed in Kodai so far. The location is perfect, with the right amount of privacy yet barely 15-20 minutes away from the main city. We were also able to order in pretty easily, and the house is well equipped with all the amenities. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Kodai. Pradeep is a wonderful host, and Ramesh (the caretaker) is supremely helpful. A wonderful experience!

Seems I manifested this stay. Growing up close to NE Indian hill stations, studying etc. always wanted to stay in a quaint, cozy hill top home overlooking the misty hills, watching sunrise from the balcony, have outdoor breakfast in the lap of nature, cooking maggi in hills, having coffee overlooking the hills. All these came true. Latha, Rajni, Selvi big thanks for such a lovely place. The road leading to the place is also very navigable. Walkable & short drive from local market should you need anything. Befriended a new feline friend as well. Latha’s place is just what your soul needs in the hills.

We had a lovely time here, Incredible views all around. It felt like we were tucked away in our own little world. The house was really comfortable, The kitchen was great for making meals, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax. It was the kind of place where we could actually slow down and enjoy time together. Peaceful mornings, cozy evenings, and lots of laughs in between. Would definitely recommend.

No words are enough to describe how great our experience was. The property was beautiful, well maintained and had everything we needed for a small staycation. The host was very kind and allowed us to do an early check-in as well. The house help spoiled us with amazing homecooked food. There is a stream nearby that was a delight, you can walk to it to sit by the water. There are multiple balconies which provide excellent avenue for sunrise / sunset and star gazing at night.

Our stay was for one night but it was a totally satisfactory stay. Complete privacy amidst beautiful nature. The cabin had beautiful paintings which was admirable and completely made of wood. It has a beautiful balcony and the washroom also is amazing and bright. The food is simply delicious. You would get mostly south indian cuisine but taste is really good. Senthil as a host is really fantastic as he wishes to meet and greet his guests personally and spends good quality time and explains about things around. He has some cute dogs who are of no harm, you just need to pet & play with them. Its just an apt place if you wish to spend some peaceful and silent time without having to do anything. May be 15 min of walk you will find a beautiful river where you can dip yourself if you wish to. Not a very hi-fi place but definitely a amazing private place to watch the sky and the mountains arounds. You would feel wonderful with the smell of nature all around you. Thankyou senthil

The place is almost 5-6 kms away from the town but very peaceful, serene and private. Biswajit Sir and his son Shavira were super helpful with everything we needed - lunch, dinner or local recommendations and very responsive. We also got an opportunity to meet both of them in person and it was great to meet such like minded people. Food was amazing (customised home food, as required). Overall, great stay and a wonderful place for a peaceful vacation with family. Thank you for the experience 🙏.

It was my first time in Kodaikanal, My room was very clean and well-equipped with all the amenities you’d expect at a top-notch hotel, yet it also had a cozy, homey feel. The bed was especially comfortable, allowing me to relax right away. After a long day, I really appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room – from the welcome snacks to the calming décor that created a peaceful environment. Overall, The Jade Highlands exceeded my expectations for a one-night stay. It’s clear that they genuinely care about making guests feel comfortable and well-taken care of. I look forward to returning for a longer stay next time, to explore more of what they have to offer. Special mention to the Host Mrs.Elavanchi, taking care of the guest like her own family members, Thank you.

Thank you for the lovely and cosy stay. Every minute things are selected elegantly and your Chettinad theme is awesome. Chef Dinesh food was like home cooked food. Hari was very helpful. The place was beyond our expectations. The views and location were surreal. Joseph and Jancy were extremely welcoming and warm towards us throughout the stay. They took very good care of us. Jancy’s food was very yummy and we were always looking forward to a meal. This airbnb is a perfect private getaway.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was impeccably clean and tidy, and the sheets were fresh and comfortable. Our host Avinash was incredibly sweet and warm, making us feel right at home. We were also impressed with the high quality of everything in the room, from the furnishings to the amenities. But the real highlight was the breathtaking view we woke up to in the morning – it truly made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The place is really good and is on the outer side of the town which is extremely peaceful. The host, Archana is really responsive and friendly. Few amenities like wifi and geyser could be better but not a big issue so overall it was worth it. The place has a bonfire option too with an additional cost which we enjoyed a lot.
