Albi is 40 minutes away (Unesco World Heritage Cathedral) 1 hour from the city of Carcassonne, Revel and its market and the St Férréol basin.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The cottage, "Le Joyeux Liseron", is a cozy cottage with a terrace on stilts. A second terrace with beautiful views of the hills, a relaxation area and a private Nordic bath. Independent, it is at the back of the property, facing nature. Free access Boulodrome. An ideal cottage for a relaxing/nature stay. Nordic wood-fired bath, easy to use (better than a hot tub!). A delightful self-contained cottage. The gite is set in six acres of beautiful garden and private woodland and boasts a year-round diversity of flowering shrubs and trees rich in birdsong. British owners Peter and Tom welcome groups of up to six people. There is also potential to accommodate an additional two guests (plus child) in an adjoining room with private bathroom. "En Macary" Gîte, 2/3 people

We offer an upstairs gîte, adjoining our family home, and next to our other gîte "Au Pigeon Voyageur". It is located in the countryside, at the foot of our dovecote and the stone bread oven dated 1613, in a small hamlet of 3 houses. Graulhet is the closest town (8 km away with 15,000 inhabitants). It has exceptional views of the Pyrenees. You will find typical elements of the region, exposed stone walls, parquet and wooden beams.

Quiet house with pool

The M&M gîte is a small house located in the quiet Teyssodaise countryside. This cottage comes with a swimming pool reserved for tenants, open throughout the summer season. This cottage is independent of the main house where we live. We do not accept other pets because we have our dog Tina and our two cats Gigi and Jojo and 4 chickens. We are located 15 minutes from Lavaur, 50 minutes from Toulouse, 25 minutes from Castres.
