The stay at "the barn "was easily the most delightful Airbnb experience I’ve had so far. The house looks absolutely stunning inside modern facilities perfectly blended with the original charm of the barn and the beautiful thatched roof. The hosts are a truly lovely couple, with their kids and dogs just as warm and welcoming. It honestly felt so difficult to leave the house. The whole setting gives you the feeling of a peaceful farmhouse with sheep, pigs, and hens in the backyard, kept at a respectful distance, never disturbing the stay, only adding to the beauty of the place. The view outside the windows is beautiful with stretching grass farm fields under a wide, open sky. It felt like something Van Gogh might have seen on a starry night. The hosts were incredibly friendly and warm I couldn’t have imagined such hospitality in the UK, especially traveling all the way from India. The house is spotless, tastefully furnished, and maintained with a lot of love and care.

Definitely a fantastic option if you want to stay in Portishead. You cannot beat the views and the location is great particularly if you have a dog as the coastal path is a two minute walk and the park is 10 minute walk. There is a lovely sitting area for the evening. There is easy parking. There is everything in the house that you need, the hosts are very considerate and have thought of everything. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

We had a lovely family holiday at Arthur’s place. The property was well equipped, spacious and dog-friendly. There is a large green space opposite with beautiful views of the sea and access to the Windmill Pub, which was great for dinner. Arthur and Jenny were gracious, friendly hosts.

A great stay at this beautiful home. The house was immaculately clean. It was a truly relaxing stay. The decor is beautiful and all of the little extras such as jams, butter, bread, dog treats and so on were really lovely. Great host, very responsive and happy to help. Had the travel cot and high chair set up for our stay and both were very clean and in great condition. Would highly recommend as somewhere to stay near Bristol.
