This rustic retreat is located near the Mölltaler glacier cable car and many destinations for hiking, climbing, skiing/hiking, canoeing and much more. On our farm in Tresdorf - a small place, sunny, in the heart of the Mölltal, right next to the Hohe Tauern National Park. The nearby ski resorts invite you to ski in winter and the Mölltal Glacier, even beyond, invites you to ski. The “Alpen Adria Trail” on the mountain and the “Großglockner Radweg R8” lead directly past us. They make hikers' and cyclists' hearts beat faster.

The Ederhof is a permaculture farm in the Großglockner area, Hohe Tauern National Park. A small alpine hut with an earth sauna and a wet biotope, located about 200m from the farmstead. The hut, with a view of the mountains and into the valley, is quaint and cozy in its simplicity. Natural materials give the living comfort a lovely warm character. With its restriction to the essentials, it provides the space for silence. The alpine hut can be booked all year round.

Nestled in the middle of the Hohe Tauern surrounded by mountain meadows and nature, this top-floor apartment inspires not only with a fantastic view of huge mountain peaks but also with its stylish furnishings and layout. Nearby there are numerous attractions, ski resorts, ski touring routes, hiking routes, via ferratas, bike paths, gorges and much more. Since we have a very small farm, there is also the possibility to get in touch with our sheep.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. The wonderful tranquility and the beautiful view of the Grossarl mountain and natural landscape is ideal for relaxing and recharging. In winter, Grossarl has a state-of-the-art ski resort with beautiful downhill runs and deep snow slopes. Since our house is located on a hill at 2.5 km mountain road snow chains are recommended in winter.

Quiet alpine hut in the heart of the Carnic Alps

Driveway ONLY possible with our off-road vehicle and accompanying person. Then about 45 min walk to the hut. MUST BRING: sleeping bag (from 3 nights there is also the possibility to rent bedding), food, sturdy shoes IMPORTANT: Please let us know the arrival time one day in advance so that we can also plan the day to ensure a smooth arrival.
