Monthly Rentals in West Kill Mountain

Our stay at the cottage was absolutely wonderful! The home is beautiful - modern and thoughtfully built out. Beds were very comfortable, amazing shower. The fire stove heated the whole house and brought wonder ambiance. It’s secluded enough but not far from several towns. Creek was lovely to see and hear. It was just the two of us and we would love to visit again - either alone or with friends. It’s a great size for 2 couples, with or without kids.

Elisabeth's cabin, "THE NICHE ON THE NOTCH - LE SPOT" on Diamond Notch Rd provided wonderful mountain views, a stream on the property and the sounds of nature to satisfy your senses. Located halfway between Phoenicia and Hunter mountain, the cabin was a short drive to many surrounding towns to explore, have a snack or a lunch after your hike along the many local steams and lakes. The cabin was nice and cozy, providing all the comforts a hiker would need during an early spring stay. Our host offered and provided all the answers and support a guest might need. Thank you Elisabeth, My son and I had a wonderful experience together every day at your cabin at the foot hills to great hiking on Diamond Notch Road. We are planning to see you again. MB.

We had a great stay in this peaceful cabin in the mountains. Perfect location central to everywhere that we visited (Woodstock, Hunter, Windham, and the awesome West Kill Brewery). The surrounding area is very quiet and beautiful, and just up the road is a very nice hiking trail. Even though it's a tiny cabin, they make very good use of the space (especially the kitchen where everything is neatly tucked away). I personally loved their coffee station complete with electric kettle, grinder, and french press. Our hosts communicated with us very well, so we had no issues finding the place and getting in.

I had a great stay here for one night and I’ll definitely be back! The location is ideal: just minutes from some amazing hikes and super convenient to restaurants in Phoenicia. It was also a really nice touch to meet the hosts during check-in.
