Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis to enjoy Jo's artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom/toilet and bedrooms are upstairs. Jo often provides breakfast and/or eveningmeals. Cost not included, but by no means a 'must'. Groningen is a 15km bikeride and at 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. Host offers language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch). We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

The Mentaheerd

Relax in the Mentaheerd. This comfortable apartment is located on the historical ground of the Mentaheerd. With unobstructed views over the beautiful landscape of Middag-Humsterland, in the middle of nature but close to the picturesque Ezinge, Feerwerd and Garnwerd and with the city of Groningen but also the boat to Schier within half an hour drive. The apartment with its own entrance has a separate bedroom with luxurious beds, simple kitchen, neat shower and living room with sofa bed.

There is TV, wifi and fast fiber internet. Around the house there are two terraces and a magnificent view of the lake! A wonderful place to relax.

You are welcome in our cozy apartment that is very centrally located in the north of the Netherlands. The apartment is located 15 minutes from the city of Groningen. The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful coulisse landscape. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. In a half hour drive you will find the Lauwersmeer area from where the boat leaves for Schiermonnikoog.

Our guesthouse is close to well-known nature reserves with the city of Groningen 15 km away. You'll love our place because it's in a nature reserve and offers beautiful views. The chalet is suitable for couples and solo adventurers and especially for nature lovers, even in winter.
