Vacation rentals with a firepit in Wheeler Lake

As I said before - Savanna was a-ma-zing!! The group I was with rented 3 homes from her and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. I stayed with a group of 2 couple and 2 singles in this home and everyone was very comfortable. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable!! All the ladies said they’d not slept that well in years - if ever. Don’t let the railroad deter you. I’m a light sleeper and never heard the train in my sleep. Thanks again for everything Savanna!!

Our group was there for fishing tournament. This Airbnb, by far, has been the most accommodating to fishermen with boats. Our group had five trucks with five boats and we have never found a place til now that we we have all been able to park at with the circle drive and carports. Planning to book here every year if available because that is a bid deal for us. We enjoyed the pool table as well. Very peaceful location and house was very clean. Beds were all comfy. Hosts was was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we asked. We have stayed at a few other Airbnbs in the area that are nice as well but this has become our new favorite. Thank you for allowing us to be your guests.

This was the perfect spot for 4 guys just trying to play some golf. Less than 15 minutes from multiple courses, including Redstone Arsenal. The space itself was clean and comfortable in all aspects! Had both dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash... all the comforts of home! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Gary’s place and enjoyed all of the amenities and nearby hiking.

Wonderful place to relax! The home is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a comfortable stay! Downstairs room is perfect for my teenagers And plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the views and scenery! We will definitely be back! Gigi and John were very helpful and responsive during our stay! Thank you.

Noni’s place was amazing! Felt right at home and she was so responsive and checked in on us. Unfortunately, we had some bad weather but her place was so cozy that we didnt mind at all. We will definitely will be back in the summer to enjoy the lake and UTV.

Amazing, beautiful, dreamy place. Kind of indescribable. Historic space, beautifully designed and furnished, views of green from the windows. An artisan treehouse. Perfectly perched above the river, in the heart of Florence.

This is a very cute, quaint, apartment. It was convenient for all of the activities we did. The host is quick to responsd and very kind. Definitely recommend!

Trevor was a great host and the place was as described and very clean. He made sure everything was in order for my stay. Place was very convenient for Smith Lewis Lake. It is a perfect place if you bring a boat as you are able to back right up to the door. We will certainly stay here when we come back to Smith Lewis.

Was perfect for the Talladega race not to far away and nice and private. Lots of great fishing nearby

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this lovely apartment. Both times I felt right at home. The space has everything you need to be comfortable during your time on the mountain. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient spot to stay on campus. It is so nice to have Amenities like a full kitchen and washer and dryer too!

My family had a wonderful time. It was a a lovely place and the hosts were the best! The home was decorated with cute seasonal extras that really added to our holiday. It was stocked nicely and had snacks and water for us when we arrived. The area was very nice.

We were visiting Tennessee to explore between Chattanooga and Nashville, it was a great little cabin in a beautiful setting. This is a location for those who want peace and quiet with options nearby for taking in natural beauty. The game room is perfect for a getaway with friends or a family. The welcome book provided is super helpful and we visited a few of the suggested spots and they were awesome.

Our family of 5 loved this get away! This home was tucked away in the woods with quick access to the lake for fishing. Spending time on the screened in patio was amazing with the hot tub and fireplaces 🥰

If you’re looking for a place to rest up, this would be the place … such a quiet, peaceful, welcoming little cabin. I loved hearing all the birds. Ans watching the squirrels, listening to the stream in the distance and walking to it, and literally sitting in a chair and letting the water Run over my feet and legs. We really enjoyed our time here and appreciated the added cup of coffee, we had each evening. There are have plenty of choices on how to stay cool or warm. Amanda was quick to respond and very kind to let us check in whenever we were ready. Come and take a rest and enjoy it..

Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Nice quiet and private area with local restaurants close by. The 11:00 checkout was very helpful and allowed a more relaxed final day.

I loved my stay at Lindsey's - I was there for a week on a writing retreat during one of the coldest times of winter but I was comfy and cozy in the cabin. The surrounding area is beautiful and it was really peaceful there. I particularly appreciated being able to bring my dog with me! We were delighted to meet the friendly neighbor dogs when they stopped by one day. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I'm sure I'll be back in a warmer season to enjoy more of the wrap-around porch!

Very lovely cabin. Actually looked better in person than it did in the photos. The hosts were very responsive and attentive. The kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings and cooking supplies. We loved the rocking chairs on the screened in porch. Only downfalls were a good bit of the dishes that were put away were not cleaned, but you are expected to load those into the dishwasher yourself. My assumption is that previous guests did not rinse the dishes before running them through the wash and someone put them up after not checking them first. Not a huge deal. We can't speak much on the amenities offered at the cabin because we stayed during bad weather, but it was the perfect cabin for an unplugged weekend with just board games and food. Overall, it was a really great place to stay and we would personally go back.

We felt truly at home at Ellen's place. A great example of a remote cabin enjoying all that nature has to offer. The cabin is fully equipped and very comfortable. We would stay again.

Don't let the drive out there bother you, the reward is tremendous! This cottage is a wonderful place to relax and decompress! What a gorgeous location! This is where I will stay for now on in Haleyville!
