River Bend Retreat - Just outside the city limits!

This was truly a home away from home. So much so that we felt comfortable keeping our 8month old grandson with us during our entire stay. The home was very clean and spacious for our needs. Tom and Catherine were very responsive to any questions and issues. They also brought over some great oatmeal and raisin cookies. We will definitely try to book with Tom and Catherine for our next stay in Wichita Falls, TX.

Our ratings speak for themselves about most things. However, we arrived in an unseasonable rain and thunder storm. There was tremendous flooding in the general area. During the night of our first stay, we noticed that there was a roof leak in the master bedroom. We captured the drips in a waste basket and reported the problem to Susan in the morning. Within an hour and 1/2, Susan had relocated us to another home that was an upgrade to what we had arranged for. During our stay, she was frequently checking to see how we were doing. If we were ever to return to Wichita Falls, TX, you can be sure that we would stay in one of her homes. Thank you, Susan, for taking such good care of us. You are a SHERO!

Second time staying here and it was just as pleasant as the first one! Chandrika’s place is always squeaky clean when you first walk in and her communication with her guests is amazing, she was always making sure we we checked in okay and were enjoying our stay!

This was the perfect spot for us! We came to the area to pick our daughter up from her USAF training at Sheppard AFB and the location was great. The place was top notch, decorated nicely without being too much. We would love to stay again if in the area!

Honestly the BEST air BnB I’ve stayed in. The house was so clean and maintained. The host was very responsive and thorough especially for a last minute booking. Great location. We rented both sides of the duplex and it was perfect for us and our kids. The little arcade on one side was great! Will definitely be staying there again!

We could not have selected a more ideal location to stay during our visit to Wichita Falls. We required a place where we could unwind and spend quality time with our son, who is attending technical school at Sheppard Air Force base. The house was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and exceeded our expectations. The hosts provided valuable suggestions on local attractions. We will certainly return.

We got there late, we had no issues finding it. He had it heated and ready for us when we got there. It’s super cozy and clean. We all slept like babies. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling for a quick rest or even for a few days to get away. I believe the r.v can be moved to any area. It had 7 beds and a queen. More than enough for us.
