Bedroom with a double bed. Note the room height of 190 cm or 6.2 ft. Seating in front of the TV set. The bathroom has a shower with a bench for disabled people. The apartment is located in the center of Beatenberg near the tourist office and Raiffeisenbank. Good starting point for the Jungfaujoch (Top of Europe).

The 2-room apartment is, however, somewhat elevated centrally in Reichnbach in the Kandertal. The ski resorts in the Oberland are within easy reach. Adelboden 23km, Grindelwald 36km. In summer, well-known hiking spots can also be reached in about 15 to 20 minutes. The accommodation was gently renovated at the end of 2019 and also offers a fully equipped kitchen, which will satisfy even higher demands. Chalet Stegmatte is conveniently located not far from Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken. Lütschental train station is very close and the train goes in 18 minutes to Grindelwald Terminal, continue with the Eigerexpress to the Eigergletscher and by train to the Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe. The apartment is 10 walking minutes from the train station in Lauterbrunnen and has a great view to the mountains and the Staubbach Falls. Downfloor 1 bedroom apartment ( 40 m2): living room with sofabed, kitchen, very small and old bathroom, terasse with view to the falls, all for private use! Notice that the apartment is opposite the lively Hornerpub, the only and best bar in the valley and loud church bells at the other side.
