“This is a truly beautiful spot. I highly recommend. We didn't want to leave! The lake is gorgeous and there are lots of places to sit and relax outside. Nearby are some amazing hiking trails, Amish bakery, and The Serpent Mound. It is a magical location with a stunning view. We can't wait to go back.”
This lovely creekside cabin is on one of southwestern Ohio's premier deepwater fishing and boating streams. Private and cozy, this Amish-built retreat is well appointed and well cared for and has a large dock. The hosts are well known for their hospitality. The rate is a flat rate and there are no additional taxes or fees.
“Great little cabin by the creek. We enjoyed lunches on the deck, dinners on the patio, and daily campfires at the creeks edge. Rowboat, pedal boat, and kayaks were available to enjoys casual trips on the creek. From the cabin to the creek/fire ring is a little steep-ish hill, NOTHING terrible at all just something to be aware of if mobility is an issue. Very nice little get away that we hope we can return to soon!”
Our home is spacious and welcoming, located in very rural Adams County Ohio. This is a great stop off between big cities like Lexington, Cincinnati, and Columbus. This is a country setting with a large yard and large back deck. Guests that enjoy the outdoors will love the surroundings. If you have more travelers and need our other room as well, let me know so that I can unblock it for you (the site will automatically block it when this is booked and so must be manually changed). NO ALCOHOL
“This was an excellent place for me to crash while while working at the International Paper in Maysville Kentucky. I liked the interaction between the hosts and I, and we got along very well. Another friend of mine found this place and rented the other room for three weeks while we were doing the turn around. The hosts did not even mind my "urban sprawl" of my stuff on their kitchen table. I would highly recommend this place and the hosts, and will stay again when in the area. ”
