The house is under 5 mins walk from the train station, Zurich is 47 mins by train and Winterthur 25 mins away. Trains are every 30 mins.

You live in a part of the house with your own entrance, small living room, kitchen and bathroom for your sole use. So you have a lot of privacy. The bedroom is on the 2nd floor, where there are also a few rooms and the owner's office. You don't have a completely closed apartment. Please do not smoke. There are cats in the house. It has a parking spot. All in a quiet garden district with lots of birds. In summer use of garden seating. Sleeps 2, only a short time 3 persons.

Farmhouse room with lovely charm

In our restored farmhouse we rent a cozy, wheelchair-accessible attic apartment with elevator, spread over 2 floors. The upper bedroom can be reached via a wooden staircase (not wheelchair accessible). My accommodation is in the middle of the village in the countryside, but very close to the nearest cities of Frauenfeld and Winterthur. The bus stop is 100m from the Airbnb. It's ideal for couples, adventurers traveling alone, business trips and families (with children).

Elsau is located on the city border to Winterthur. Rural and yet close to the city. Visit Winterthur with its cafés, museums, the Technorama or the music festivals! Zurich can be reached in 30 minutes by train and car. The same applies to the Rhine Falls or the border with Germany and Austria. The property has its own entrance and parking space, and is close to the bus or train stop. In summer, the in-house pool can be used by arrangement. Baby crib by arrangement.

We are a family who runs the farm ourselves and look forward to welcoming guests in our specially furnished guest room. A dog and cats as well as a few chickens currently live on our farm. We are also constantly thinking about acquiring more animals. There are numerous dirt roads for hikes. The Thur and the Rhine are within reach and beautiful bike tours can be made. We are happy to help with planning activities.
