Wow this Airbnb is a true gem, immaculately clean, the attention to detail goes way, above and beyond any air bnb experience I've had to date. Fresh bread and fresh scones, a selection of jams, butter, teas coffees.. All the amenities you could ask for. An idyllic setting.. Peaceful and private the bed was super super comfortable, waterfall shower was amazing after a long day on the motorbike. I can and will thoroughly recommend this to all of my friends especially those who ride. A perfect spot so close to exmoor. Lynda was such a brilliant host, communication was excellent she really went above and beyond to make the stay as brilliant as it could be.

I stayed at The Old Chapel with 3 friends so we could do a couple of days walking on Exmoor. The location was brilliant and the cottage itself has been beautifully restored. It is warm, cosy and modern with great facilities. I really can't recommend it enough. Marsdens Devon Cottages were very pleasant to deal with and extremely friendly. I would definitely book another cottage with them.

Had a great stay at Valley Cottage over New Year. Lovely cottage, old, quaint and a little quirky, just what we like. A little tricky to find: info/directions were good but our poor phone signal and WiFi let us down a bit. The beds were comfortable and bedding and towels good quality and beautifully clean. Plenty of kitchen equipment, crockery and glasses. Thank you for the welcome pack, a nice touch and we especially enjoyed bubbly on NYE! Great location in the village with fabulous views. Very short walk to shop which seemed to stock everything you could need and very friendly. The local pub The Royal Oak is highly recommended; welcoming, dog friendly, great ales and fantastic food. We did trips into South Molton and Tarr Steps, both within a 30 minute drive over the stunning moors. All in all a lovely cottage and we will be back! 😊
