“Great to be back at Angie’s - it’s always busy and not hard to see why. A great host, comfortable and clean space and a feeling of being at home. Will be back soon hopefully!”
Our beautiful home is situated in a quiet cul de sac in the small heritage village of Elsecar, the bedroom is light and airy and has plenty of hanging and drawer space. We are only 5 minutes from the M1, you can drive to Harrogate, York, Yorkshire Dales or the Peak District in about 1 hour from our home, there are great walks along the Penine way. Come see the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire. Leeds is 40 mins away and Sheffield only 25 mins. We welcome young and old into our home.
“Janet and her husband make you feel at home and at ease. Share a moment with them. Parking on drive or street. Very peaceful village. The bedroom very beautiful and the shower also very nice though once you go in you may not want to get out! Breakfast is light, though very filling. In the village there are 3 pubs/restaurants, pizza House, Thai The Crown Inn was my favourite, great people, great food and people very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. There's a lovely Heritage Museum to visit and plenty going on. I stopped at Janet's place in Elsecar, though by my business course was in Rotherham only 20 minutes away by motorway. Five Stars for the wonderful hosts. Highly Recommended. James”

“A great place to stay for visiting YSP & the Hepworth Gallery, being central to both. Lots of space in this studio for both ourselves and our dogs, with everything you may need provided. The extras - milk, bread, bacon, eggs etc really appreciated! Really quiet & relaxing place in an unusual spot next to the river with the canal close by for convenient dog walking. Thanks Andrew - a brilliant host!”
