Fishing enthusiasts will also find everything they need here. 100m from the bungalow there is a bistro with excellent beer and something to eat. 1 km away there is a large swimming pool with beach volleyball and water games and a playground for the little ones.

Our hostel Fuchs und Hase is located in Oberjugel, a scattered settlement belonging to Johanngeorgenstadt, directly on the border with the Czech Republic. At an altitude of 850 m, pure nature, tranquility, unadulterated mountain meadows and many hiking and cycling trails await you. In winter, the Jugelloipe starts right behind the house with connection to the Kammloipe and Czech ski highway. Several ski slopes can be reached quickly by car. We are happy to provide tips.

In the immediate vicinity, there are cross-country ski trails and the biathlon stadium with a roller ski track and ski lift, a sledding slope, MTB trails and hiking trails. A house with history - Built in 1860 as a Royal Forestry Office building in Mähring, it was restored in several thousand working hours. Enjoy the wonderfully idyllic area as a starting point for excursions to Neualbenreuth, Pilsen, Mariánské Lázně, Karlovy Vary, Eger, Waldsassen and many other attractive destinations in the area. We are happy to share that part of the world with them.
