Family-friendly vacation rentals in Yamaguchi

A fabulously located place near the main Shinkansen station, plus a network of trams outside your door (flat fee 240 yen per journey or 700 per day, unlimited). We loved riding the trams (pay as you get off). Really easy to find and get inside (coded lockbox with key). Superb attention to detail: loads of great tips, maps, personal touches and handy things like hooks as well as plenty of towels plus a washer/dryer. It was up a few flights of stairs above a ramen restaurant. There are two bedrooms (2 x queen bed in each). The kitchen, while small, was highly usable with lots of appliances (microwave, grill, kettle, hob). There is also aircon (it was hot when we first arrived). There's a TV in one of the bedrooms. We would have loved to have stayed longer in Hiroshima (we only did two nights). It's such a beautiful city. It was so sad to learn more about the history at the memorial museum & peace park. The whole place does feel extremely peaceful in general. Highly recommended

the accommodation is very spacious. all facility that you should need are there. tho the bathroom with some ages and still function well. We generally finish clothes washing and dry at the balcony. location-wise, lawson & 7-11 are just in mintute walk distance. but building location is not close to tram stop, so may need to take around 8-10minute walk. however, Hiroshima is not a big city, so may not be a big concern to someone.

A lovely, unique house, very comfortable and charming. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but easily accessible (the nearest JR station is only a 5-minute walk away). It was a perfect starting point for our trip to Miyajima. Communication with the hosts was always easy and pleasant. We would love to come here again.

It was a conscientious price.It is an old-fashioned house, but I was able to relax with a beautiful interior and clean bedding. Thank you for being very kind to the management.

Great location! Walking distance from a streetcar station and the memorial park. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Near different food spots and convenience stores ☺️

I was traveling with my infant so I needed somewhere that has a kitchen for me to cook baby food. This place got everything that a family needs and I had a good stay. The only drawback was that there was no elevator though it was stated clearly in description already. At last the flat is big, clean, and tidy. It is highly recommended for family travel.

The place has spacious common area which is something we didn’t find easy in our Japan trip in general. Not fat away from the city center. The host was very responsive always within 5-10 minutes which is greatly appreciated, and offered a lot of consumables like towels or bathroom commodities. We slept on futons that were not equally comfortable for all but this is also something common to expect in Japan. Had a very good stay and would definitely chose again if in Hirosima

Thank you Yumiko for letting us stay in your home. The house was comfortable, clean, and had many amenities, though because our stay was very short we did not have the opportunity to use all of these (e.g. the bikes). It would be perfect for a longer stay. We didn’t meet Yumiko, but she was responsive whenever we messaged her before our stay. She gave clear instructions for accessing the property. Instructions for appliances were exclusively in Japanese, but we were able to use what we required with some help from Google’s photo translation feature. The house has accessible features (eg a lift) and Japanese style beds (tatami bed and futon). The home is in a residential area a little outside Hiroshima’s city centre. The local buses and streetcars were excellent (nearby, frequent, easy to use). The streetcar takes 25-30 mins to get to the city centre; the bus is a bit quicker. Overall, we were very happy with our time in Yumiko’s place. It would be a perfect base for a longer stay.
