This hostel is beautifully designed, with a modern aesthetic—it allows your thoughts to wander and your mind to feel free. On top of that, the staff provided such a personal experience. They are genuinely the kindest people, going out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Whether it’s providing local tips, having thoughtful conversations, or just being genuinely caring, they made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a welcoming and spotless place to stay, this hostel is a must! Not to forget, the town Tsuwano has such a charming, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for exploring or just taking it easy. We were especially impressed by the local food—everything was incredibly fresh, and each meal felt like a true taste of the region. We only wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of the area’s beauty and enjoy the warm hospitality at the hostel. It’s a place we’ll definitely want to return to!

I had my first experience staying in a warehouse. There was an old shrine next door, and I was able to go to Hatsumoto and it was a very satisfying trip. Thank you for your kind response. I couldn't get it by car navigation. I was told about access in advance, so I was able to get there without getting lost. There may be a difference in the model, but the Docomo signal seems to enter even in the warehouse, but it seemed like there was almost no AU signal, but there was also a wifi environment, so it was not that inconvenient.

This was absolutely the best stay of my entire one month trip to Japan. Let me tell you why. First, Midori actively organised to meet me at the station and pick me up so that I’d make it to the AirBnB with ease. When I expressed my desire to visit a particular spot in Hiroshima, she offered to take me there first on our way home. Similarly, I was given a lift back to the station on the morning I checked out. This sort of kindness defines the experience in Midori and Jeff’s AirBnB. I throughly enjoyed chatting with them both whether out at dinner — a great local spot upon their recommendation — or over breakfast at home. My dietary requirements were catered for and I was incredibly grateful. In conversation I mentioned my work in photography to which Jeff and Midori promptly arranged to introduce me to their photographer friend the next day! It ended up being a very unique way to explore the city. Truly such thoughtful hosts, I cannot recommend them enough.

Thank you for a great stay! Everything was perfect! We spent 4 nights at Tomomi's, Tomo and their three children's place as well as the little kitten! We are a family with children and a 7 month old baby and we were very well hosted! The kids had a great time with a great memory: an afternoon at the river! We ate every night and had breakfast every morning: it was perfect! We are Belgian so what a pleasure to go harvesting Kita Akari potatoes and eat them in a curry and enjoy them in homemade fries the next day🥰🤩😘🙏! Thank you for your good advice, we had a rental car so it was very easy. Hiroshima has touched us a lot and is to be done on a long trip to Japan! We also spent a day in Miyajima, it was great with beautiful sunset. Finally, a favorite for visiting the small temple recommended by our hosts: Gokurzku-ji temple! Kikue and her home were wonderful from beginning to end. She is an exceptionally kind, generous, and pleasant host. Her home was spotless, well decorated, and combined with her warmth, it felt like a home away from home. I had the opportunity to converse with her and her family in Japanese, during which she was very helpful when a word that I did not know came up. And the delightful breakfasts she prepared every morning were the highlight of my day. Thanks to her kindness, I had a truly special time in Hiroshima. I would highly recommend Kikue and her home to any prospective guest, and I would love to return myself.

When staying here, you become apart of the family. They are very generous and want you to experience Japan's culture and cuisine. Google translate / Airbnbs translate were used to hold conversations. Location: Nearby Pikmin Terrace, and commuter transit accessible to Miyajima Island, and Hiroshima City. They were kind to bring me back/forth to the train station.
