Whitehaven was exactly what we needed for a Christmas family holiday. Comfortable, quiet, private but with access to great amenities and a very short walk to an uncrowded beach that felt luxurious at this time of year. The house was easy to live in with so many ‘extras’ and the local IGA and shops provided all we needed. Everyone wants to return next summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Gordon and Sue’s place. Even though we booked less than 24 hours before arriving, everything was ready ahead of time. They were friendly, responsive, and easy-going to deal with. The place felt like a private villa, with ocean views and a beautiful breeze flowing through - a great mix of open and private space. The bed was large and super comfortable with soft linens. The beach is just a short walk down the hill, while cafes and shops are a little further—either a longer walk or a quick drive. We hadn’t been to Yaroomba before, but loved how peaceful it was. It’s close to everything, yet quiet—perfect if you like to feel more like a local than a tourist while on holiday. Thanks again for having us, Gordon and Sue. We’ll definitely be back!
