Staying at Villa del Arbol surrounded by the lush Yucatán Jungle was an unforgettable experience. The architecture of the villa, especially the glass box with two trees inside the room, was simply amazing. It felt like being in a tranquil oasis, seamlessly blending nature with modern design. Our host, Hector, deserves special recognition for creating such a magical space. His attention to detail and passion for design truly shone through every aspect of the villa. One of the highlights of our stay was lying in bed and watching the full moon illuminate the jungle while wildlife visited the trees outside. It was a truly enchanting experience that made us feel connected to nature in a profound way. Hector's hospitality was outstanding. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive throughout our stay, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. His positive energy was infectious and added to the overall sense of relaxation and well-being. We will definitely return!

Beautiful house and plunge pool, if anything better than the photos. The house felt really loved and personal. Lots of local artwork on display and made the most of the jungle surroundings - the jungle courtyard view from the toilet and bath in the master bedroom was a pleasant surprise! Walking distance to Chichén Itzá and several restaurants. Lots of cenotes locally to visit, with helpful recommendations of the best ones from the host.

Very nice welcome and the activities we were able to do were very interesting. Meetings with locals have been rewarding for us. The place was simple but clean. However, in the morning we did not have hot water to shower. Also, on the evening of our arrival, we had nothing planned to eat because we thought that in this community it would have been possible to eat . However, we found ourselves quickly and there was nothing around to go shopping. Despite this , our short stay went well and we will keep a good memory of our time in Yaxunah. Thank you Orlando, Holga and Alvea for your welcome , your dish cooked underground , your tortillas , your breakfasts..... eh yes, apart from dinner sui was zapped, we were able to taste some delicious Mayan dishes!

This is my all time favorite Airbnb! I travel a lot in Mexico as a solo female traveler and the host, his family, and his village were the most incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly people I have met so far. The room was perfect—well organized and accommodating with filtered water and extra blankets. WiFi was fast and I was able to get cell service. I loved walking through the village and taking in the beautiful, peaceful scenery. Lois made us the most delicious breakfast and was so gracious and patient with me and my friend. The surroundings are breathtaking with many trees and plants, and the sky fills with stars at night. I was truly sad to leave the Airbnb and the village. The helpful recommendations Lois provided were invaluable and saved us so much time and energy during the spring equinox at Chichén Itzá. I owe him a debt of gratitude and I cannot wait to take my family to his wonderful corner of the planet. What a truly special place and people! Thank you so much!!
