Vacation rentals with a kayak in Yucatán Peninsula

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

Beautifully appointed and clean home. Comfortable beds and essentials in the kitchen. We had a great visit and enjoyed the views, pool and a short drive to the malecon. Water heater went out in one of the bathrooms but staff was incredibly responsive and had it fixed in 24 hours.

I cannot recommend Tina's home highly enough. From booking to checkout, the process was easy and seamless. The home is gorgeous and has everything you need and more. The view cannot be beat. The pool was refreshing after a day out snorkeling or into town or to Caye Caulker. Eva, the house manager, virtually acts as a personal concierge - seeing to everything you could possibly need at the house, tons of contacts for snorkeling, fishing, massages (at the dock) and restaurants. She met us as we docked and was available throughout our stay to ensure a wonderful visit to Belize. As noted in the description, the house is a 25-minute golf cart ride on, at times, an unpaved dirt road. It can be bumpy but overall it's definitely worth it. The beds were comfy, the A/C was a dream, and we cooked a few meals there and found everything we needed. We hated to leave but are grateful for the hospitality and beautiful place to visit. If you're considering a San Pedro visit, this is the place!

Wonderful place, if you are looking for privacy and getting away from the hustle and bustle. We appreciate all the attention and recommendations for our family, it was a weekend in paradise. We had a wonderful stay in Akumal. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids (infant, 3,6) and the place was well set up for our group. The beach was beautiful and so accessible right out the back door, the pool was perfect for the kids, and the outdoor space was so comfortable and inviting. The neighborhood was peaceful and relaxed. There was a portable crib available for the baby. We had chef Carlos come for a few breakfasts and dinners and the food was amazing-such a treat. We visited Akumal Natura Rescue, the Tulum ruins, and Yax-kin cenote, all wonderful and close by. Would highly recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house hosted by Sonia and Rene, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sonia, Rene and their exceptional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The property itself is stunning. It is beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. Every room was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views and easy access to local attractions. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Rene and Sonia for being such wonderful hosts. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made our stay truly special. They were always available to provide suggestions and recommendations for our trip. And a special thank you to our Chef Rangel by far best chef I’ve had in all my trips.

The house is super spacious and nice in addition to clean!, the beautiful beach and the area very quiet!!... Tony is very kind and always attentive. And the village is very close to buy anything. We were very comfortable!!

We loved staying there. Peaceful, quiet, the pristine water lapping Miranda was very helpful in organizing massages and boat tour ... and always responsive within minutes the entire experience was very relaxing ... highly recommend

Miguel's place is stunning and worth the price for a great experience. Very spacious, consisting of a main house with one bedroom and bathroom and two bedrooms with a jack and Jill bathroom adjacent to the main house. It has a lovely bbq area with rows of bulbs next to a large pool. Hearing the crashing waves and feeling the breeze was priceless. at this location you can bathe in the sea and move to the pool, the best of both worlds. House is fully equipped with a water cooler that offers room, hot and cold temperatures. I highly recommend it.

it is a spacious, heated house, the perfect pool and the perfect grill. the recommendations and service from the host were very good for family rlmolan.

The Treehouse is such a gem! My only regret is not booking a longer stay. The place is homey, lived in, and the private beach access could not be beat. Rubio, the caretaker, was incredibly attentive and so generous, helping us with the kayaks and always getting us fresh coconuts. It’s a perfect get away and I can’t wait to return!!

We loved our stay at Cristina’s cottage. Perfect little spot for the two of us with a cute rooftop patio. The cottage was very clean and well stocked for our visit. By far the best part though was proximity to the beach, which often felt like our own private beach! We would definitely stay again!

Excellent beachfront stay, the clean, comfortable cabin, equipped with everything you need and more , heated and with the Furniture in optimal condition . We were in family plan ( including our mascot) , the tranquil and alga-free beach , the amenities included kayak , chairs and everything you need to share and enjoy as a family . Excellent anfrition, we will gladly return again .

Godfrey communicated with us in advance and arranged pick up from airport to a restaurant (he had a few recommendations) and then being brought from restaurant to the cabin He was very friendly and welcoming The cabin was clean , nice wooden floors, comfortable bed , quite, felt nice with A/C We were able to heat up our breakfast in Mwave and made black coffee

Leo and Brenda were amazing hosts! They truly went over and above to make our stay incredible. Fran’s meals were delicious and Juan and Dalia were super helpful. We pretty much agree with all the other amazing reviews. The road is difficult. We made a point to reserve and confirm an SUV through EasyWay rental car but when we arrived late at night they only had a passenger car that made our trip much more challenging. 100% not an issue with this amazing Airbnb but do yourself a favor and if you are renting a car, triple confirm that is is an SUV. I don't think you will need 4x4 or AWD but you will need the ground clearance of an SUV or similar. Thanks for an amazing stay!

The place is very nice, has direct access to the lagoon, the small and comfortable cabin with its own balcony and spectacular treatment in addition to being pet friendly, the pier is shared with other guests.

100% recommended, it was easy to get to the house, sra. Celia is very kind and friendly Ami family and Ami we really liked the place. Everything was clean and tidy. We would definitely go back 😊 and I highly recommend the beach Costa del Sol. The food is delicious, the place is beautiful and clean.

I really enjoyed my stay here for a few reasons, the first and biggest reason was how great Stacey and her family was. I was coming out there alone and was on edge but Stacey quickly made me feel safe and comfortable. She also made me a great breakfast every morning. Secondly, If you love nature or just want a peaceful, private getaway, this is the place for you. I got to see spider monkeys and kayak on the creek, it was pretty cool. Lastly, The cabin was very clean and modern, and they provided everything you would need— I loved the shower! It was pretty far from everything, and the road getting out there is pretty bumpy so just be prepared for that, but everything else was great. I had maximum peace out there just journaling, reading, chilling, and spending time with Gods beautiful creation.

the room is very large, with air conditioning. the bathroom is very large everything clean. the location is in the entrance of bacalar, so by bike or by car you get to the center in 5 minutes. its very nice beach club is walking from the lagoon... there is no restaurant(it is crossing the street), however there is more father why you put your drinks or your things and enjoy the club without paying. you are lending bikes and kayak.... maybe the only thing would be that you take your life jackets so that you can get more Agusto into the lagoon. but it is very nice... the pool is also very clean only that it is in the part of the accommodation ... and the beach club you have to walk the same... it is pet friendly super friendly all and I felt very comfortable why they respected my pets....

The location is unbeatable, the view of the Bacalar Lagoon is absolutely breathtaking, and staying right on the water made it feel like our own private paradise. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of our host. I was planning a surprise birthday celebration for my best friend, and they went above and beyond to make it special. Not only did they help with decorations, but they even went out of their way to buy a cake, flower and anensuring everything was perfect for the occasion. The effort and attention to detail truly made the celebration unforgettable. Beyond the amazing service, the property itself is a dream. Waking up to the stunning turquoise waters, enjoying the peacefulness of the lagoon, and having direct access to swim, kayak, or simply relax by the water, it’s an experience like no other.
