Lucinda and Ivan would like to welcome you to their beautiful home in the countryside, 10km from historical Kilkenny city. We have a bright, open plan kitchen and living area where you are welcome to relax, chat, play board games, learn how to make soda bread or go for a walk...we have a son and a dog both of whom like to welcome guests too!
“Lucinda's family is one of the most friendly families I have ever met. They were great conversationalist and they even made an amazing breakfast for us for free. The rooms and bathroom and the rest of the house was really clean, cozy and warm. They are also very environmentally friendly - do a lot of recycling etc - which made me respect them even more. Highly highly recommend!”
This studio apartment is the pride and joy of Bridie and Martin...a retired couple who have embraced Airbnb with great enthusiasm! The amazing reviews given by the guests speak for themselves! Cullahill is surrounded by wonderful Irish countryside and has several public walkways from leisurely rambles to challenging treks up the nearby hills. It’s a 5 min drive from Castle Durrow (popular wedding destination) and has every comfort imaginable for a fantastic stay. All welcome 😁
“5 stars all round. This place is ideal for those who are attending a wedding in Castle Durrow. 5 minutes down the road in the next village. Super stay , possibly the best Airbnb we have stayed at for the price and what was available. Upon arrival on a bitter winter's day,the stove was lit. The presses were full with a huge variety of food. The place was spotless and the bed was tremendously comfortable! Cannot fault the accommodation and the two top host's.”

“Sheila’s is a great place to stay if you want to explore Kilkenny and want to be more remote and stay in a rural setting rather than the bustling area of Kilkenny. Her property is nestled in farmland and is simply beautiful. It’s a 20 minute drive to Kilkenny and we found it to be a great home base while exploring the area. Shiela’s place was very clean, Wi-Fi was good, bed was comfortable and the place is quite spacious with beautiful views. Sheila also provides a LOT of food in the little kitchen. I am not sure if she always provides this much but I would assume so since I was just a random renter. There was cereal, cookies, yogurt, cheese, milk, orange juice, Perrier, jam, bread, butter, sugar, apples, bananas, plums, berries....you get the idea. Very generous for sure. We had a lovely stay at her place and would definitely recommend it.”
