Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Acropolis

Everything great, nice place, very clean. The only thing to note is that it is a house with only AirBnB apartments, which is not super popular in the politically active neighborhood, as the locals feel displaced by gentrification and rising rents.

The apartment exceeded my expectations. Great location. Clean and comfortable. Spectacular view of the Acropolis/Parthenon. I would definitely stay again. Haidi was a pleasure, always responding quickly to any questions I had. Would highly recommend.

Read some reviews and cannot understand why some people scored Marinas apartment less than 5. the apartment is in a very good location, only 10 mins walk from main square. so many restaurants nearby and the Carrefour 2 doors down is handy. the apartment is clean, very comfortable and the balcony was great for the 5 of us to eat breakfast and relax on after sightseeing. Marina was very accommodating and helpful and if ever back in Athens I would definately look to booking this apartment again. really good for family's up to 6 people.

Excellent apartment, very well-equipped . Ideally located 10 minutes walk from the beach. Supermarket and bakery 100 m away. Each room is equipped with a very quiet and efficient air conditioning system. Very good host. Looking forward to coming back again next year.

It was better than I expected. The interior is unique that create interesting vibe. Huge space, comfortable, the location is also nice, I used to live there nearby. Overall perfect. We enjoy the stay.

Great option

We (family with two teenage children) stayed in Marialena's apartment for a week in late October. The apartment was in top condition and the large roof terrace was amazing! Really nice to be able to start and end the day there. Nearby the apartment there is a large selection of nice restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, etc. Plaka, Acropolis and other parts of central Athens can also be reached on foot.

I had a truly lovely stay at Daphne’s home. The house is extremely comfortable—every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the furnishings reflect a refined, aesthetic sensibility. The bedroom was wonderfully quiet, and I slept very well. I especially enjoyed the little patio, full of plants and flowers—a perfect spot for a peaceful morning coffee. The location, in the Kypseli neighbourhood, was ideal. It’s a lively and characterful area with plenty of local shops, cafés, restaurants, and street artists. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Just across the road there’s a brilliant greengrocer selling fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and grains. There’s also a large, leafy park within easy walking distance—perfect for a morning run or a gentle stroll surrounded by greenery. The area is also well-connected. There’s a direct bus to Syntagma, the Acropolis, and other central sights. The metro is about a 20-minute walk away, and links you to the whole of Athens, including the airport.

Apartment was spacious, modern and with very nice artistic touch throughout which made it cosy and pleasant. Place was well prepared for our arrival clean and warm with Christmas accessories added and Greek traditional cake waiting for us. All together we felt welcomed and had very nice comfortable stay in the apartment. Vasilis is a very good host, he provided us with all the info, also guide for local attractions, all very useful for someone visiting Athens for the first time. Communication with Vasilis was easy, any question we had was answered in matter of minutes.

A great appartment in a quiet neighborhood close to the center and the north of Athens. Super clean, the fridge was full and Vassiliki is an amazing host !

this is a great place for a longer stay. The view of the Arcopolis is amazing, the apartment is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for those that want to cook. the location is quiet but close to a big selection of restaurants. Most of the ancient city sights and museums are walkable and if you want or need to take public transport the metro is not far away. Konstantinos was a great host. He met us when we arrived and took us through the apartment and was always responsive. He had a long list of great recommendations for places to go, things to do and restaurants to eat at.

What can I say the apartment was lovely and George our host was amazing! Our first night we were sent dinner and some Beers! A lovely welcome. Given the time of year, George kindly dressed the apartment for the Christmas festivities, which was well received by the whole family. In terms of accessibility you can’t beat it. Five minutes to the metro station which is a super efficient way to travel around Athens. We would recommend staying here to anyone you won’t be disappointed! Thanks George and Happy New Year!!

Very comfortable stylish and spotless house! Although we had a short stay we immediately felt the warmth and serenity of this home. Our host Irini was very helpful and prompt in her responses. . Our daughter loved the house bed, so many toys, and the crib in the yard. The amenities of the house are also impressive as there is everything and more that someone might need during their stay. Things we could never have imagined mostly in the amenities for families like, intercom, high chair, baby bath, and more. But the biggest surprise was the projector in the living room! We relaxed watching a movie in the evening, it was the perfect closure of our day. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we hope to find the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home again soon! The house is very tidy, and we are also provided with airport drop-off service. I highly recommend it!
