Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.

Beloura Home: direct access to the pool & top view

Our apartment is located in the heart of Quinta da Beloura near Sintra, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Surrounded by golf camps, you will be close to historic monuments and the beloved cities of Cascais and Lisbon. Linger in the light-flooded living room or on the large sun terrace with breathtaking views. The area offers all kinds of outdoor activities e.g. tennis, biking, golfing, hiking, surfing, etc. We will be happy to assist you with the planning. Explore, experience and enjoy!

Entre Rochas Pool House

The Pool House is a self-contained 2 bedroom house, with its own private pool at the top of Malveira da Serra bordering the Sintra National Park in a very quiet and peaceful area with amazing views over the Cascais coast. Outdoor activities include hill walking, trail running, mountain biking, and bouldering, to world class surfing, windsurfing, and wild swimming all along the coast. A car is useful, but not essential, the local beaches and Cascais can all be reached by off-road tracks.

Private parking, walk to Sintra and Palaces

Make the most of your time in Sintra in our newly renovated Innkeeper's Quarters. Enjoy free, private, fenced parking and walk around historic Sintra. Hike to Pena Palace and Mouros Castle or relax on our patio. The Innkeeper's Quarters is connected to the main house, an historic small Inn where our family lives. It has a seperate entrance and patio with kitchen, washer/dryer & two bedrooms. We have a super- friendly Swedish flatcoated retriever who will likely say hello to you!

Sea'Ya Thoughtful Stays - Villa Figueira

Sea'Ya Villa Figueira boasts some of the most spectacular views in Cascais, overlooking the sea and the renowned Guincho Beach. This independent town villa offers a charming garden, a terrace ideal for al fresco dining, an outdoor shower, and suspended hammocks for unwinding after a day at the beach, enjoying the sunset. Casa Galamares is composed of small accommodation units. Nestled in the heart of the Serra de Sintra, overlooking the Monserrate Palace. Sintra's Historic Center, Museums and Palaces are a 10-minute drive away. The beaches, known for their extensive sands, are just 5 minutes away. Colares offers restaurants, supermarkets and other services. Quiet and cozy place.
