A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

A delightful semi-detached one-bedroom property in the village of Chirnside in the Scottish Borders. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. Edinburgh and Newcastle are an hour away by car or train, the coast is a 15 minute drive, and there are several quaint market towns in the area to visit. The property is only a few minutes walk from the village supermarket and other local amenities. The building and grounds form part of a renovated old Bank and include other holiday flats.

Thornbank Cottage is a cosy cottage (sleeps 4) in the heart of Coldingham, Scottish Borders. The cottage has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is warm and comfortable, with modern facilities in an 18th century building. Use it as a base to explore the St Abbs Nature Reserve; spend the day by the sea exploring rocks pools or riding the surf or take some beautiful walks in the countryside. Then come back to relax in front of a wood burner or sit outside in the sunshine!
